State of Grace. That's the track I always suggest to non-swifties. Great track. A bit U2-esque. With the Folklore & Evermore albums she convinced the music aficionado. But her real talent is pop music: Red & 1989 are her peak albums IMHO.

Quotegeorgelicks Her new album, which comes out on April 19, has already surpassed 600,000 copies in pre-sale, only in the United States, still with 55 days left until the release date and who knows how many new versions with different bonus tracks. She's touring Australia now playing to packed stadiums night after night, she has 8 albums in the Australian Top 10 albums chart and her enti

Wembley has "Front Pitch Standing" (£145.75). You'd think that similar stadiums would use that set up as well.

QuoteStoneZP Denmark Street Hyde Park ... Denmark St 4 is where Regent Sound Studios used to be. You can’t miss it, it’s a guitar shop still called Regent Sound with a couple of Stones posters referring to their recordings there. Is the Ealing Club still open? Worth a visit if so. Saw Chris Jagger there a couple of years ago.

Some popular Belgian bands/artists at free festivals from the mid 80s to the early 90s: Soulsister, Axelle Red, Raymond van het Groenewoud, Johan Verminnen,… My first real, paid, concert none other than The Rolling Stones; june 1995 at Werchter. Tragically Hip was the support act.

QuoteVoodooLounge13 QuoteBowieStone QuoteVoodooLounge13 Is it bad that I still own, and listen with some irregular regularity, my Milli Vanilli CD's?!?!!?!? Man, that was some classic 90's pop!!! Whomever they were!!! I’m in your corner. I still even play the “The Real Milli Vanilli” album. Not sure I know about this real Milli Vanilli album. Will have to seek out that one now!

That is excellent news. Curious if a Jay Joyce production will work; with his other artists it does more often than not.

QuoteMisterO The first 45 single I bought was Dylans Like a Rolling Stone. The B side was Rainy Day Woman. I think I listened to once and not even all the way through. It took many years, maybe a decade after that for me to start listening to it and learning it. I think I will listen to it now!!! Don't you mean Gates of Eden?

Not really a hidden gems list. For the hiphop community those albums by Mobb Deep and Eric B. & Rakim are stone cold classics. Even some million sellers in there, like Evermore. Lots of people heard that.

For me, it's also a 3.5 album. It's a lot of fun, but I do think that the songwriting is a bit by numbers. ABB, B&L & BtB were all 4.0 albums for me. I would still rate them 4.0 today. But to release a fresh, fun album at this moment in their career and at their age is pretty amazing.

Yes. My tickets are €199 I think. That is for Front Standing tickets as they call it. Can’t get any closer. That price will get you obstructed view at a Stones gig (more or less).

Saw him too this weekend. Also not the biggest fan. To me he’s one of the great enigmas of popular music: never understood why he became so big. But I enjoy quite a few of his albums… even some later ones. Hyde Park was good, but he’s not the singer he once was. Also… if you play these large places… some visuals would be nice. I don’t mean pyrotechnics or dancers, but ‘the look’ of the sho

Quotecrholmstrom QuoteBowieStone Hiphop live shows are an experience, a party if you will. It shouldn’t be judged like other music. Got nothing to do with live instrumentation. Although some acts perform with a band, the essence is a turntable (computer) and a microphone. I witnessed some fantastic shows over the years: Public Enemy, Kendrick Lamar, Run the Jewels, Little Simz, De la soul, …
