Not a good look for the Stones. 80+ yo musicians off the road for 2 years now. Can no longer afford to be off the road. Not enough time left on their clock. I am hoping for an American tour in the fall. I find it hard to believe the Stones release a new LP and won't tour the worlds largest market to promote it

In regard to the Blu-ray, I get the impression a pro shot video from Earls Court and some stuff from Paris 1976. My question, is the Paris footage the same as the broadcast version? Were there multiple Paris show professionally shot? My understanding is that the Stones did not own the broadcast version of Paris but possibly owned the rights to another pro shot of the Paris Stand.

Off topic, but I have often wondered about Mick, Keith and Ronnie health at this stage of their lives. Most of their contempories have had loss of hair, had cataract surgery, presbyopia, have had prostate issues et al. I haven't heard any of these with the Stones. Did I miss something or are the Stones age defining supermen?

A shorter affair as far as set lists and tour goes. Any thoughts on why such a short set list? Woodstock rehearsals found the band rehearsing a number of songs that were omitted from set list. Why? Why such a short list when plenty of other tracks had been played in rehearsals. Why no European tour next year? Why such poor locations in 1978 e.g palladium NYC, Masonic Temple Detroit? really small
