So Charlie Always going along with whatever nonsense Mick plans and making it his own. Godspeed, my love. I know you are up there, just chuckling away at our lionizing.

The "No Zoom tour" I second the virtual concert just as an homage to the day and to reach folks who can't get out.

Mick story.... While I was standing waiting for an elevator with a colleague (professor) asked me what I was planning to do during break. I shared I had some tickets to the Stones. My colleague in her 60s squealed "I love Mick Jagger! I even met him." I, of course, asked "Where?" And shared she was in London on vacation and went to the Tate to see an exclusive exhibition

Love this thread. Not an intro, but funny if you're from Philly: "I was on my way to Wawas (sic) to get my hoagie, but then I hit a pothole. Charlie (Watts) was OK cause he gets his hoagies from Sheetz."

I appreciate all of the replies. I have actively fought to keep my employees home so I am well aware of the need and reasons to isolate. As much as I have enjoyed avoiding the politics of work (except for zoom creating its own issues) even I, who could never attend another work party or meeting and not care, am feeling the barrenness of pandemic living. Even clothing has taken on new meaning, I

I miss many things these days, but today it hit me how much I miss them. Maybe it was the Zipcode tour poster I received in the mail today, the one from Indy. The only one my whole family attended. In some ways, "missing" is its own experience- there's anticipation, the actual event, and then the aftermath. I am in the aftermath, living in a ghost town...

I never saw Bowie in concert, but I was one of the few who saw his last work: Lazarus. I was in the front row and Iman attended the Saturday matinee. I was super lucky as the next performance was cancelled as some performer was ill. I drove from Chicago to NYC and only could make this performance. A great memory.

They will work until they their bodies defy their desire. Recently I watched an interview of Charlie from the 90s in which the interviewer was going on about THIRTY YEARS of the Stones...... When asked if he likes to tour Charlie said no (as we all know) but he said he loves performing. Unless they physically can't, they will because why wouldn't you do something you love. Long

Only critique is the tongue image, c'mon a tongue covered by a mask is obvious or at least gray black/tone. I don't get the rehash of burnt orange. Maybe a tongue with a thermometer.

Gets better as I listen over and over. I just heard Keith's complete statement on his Twitter (versus announcement on Facebook) - he sounds sane and sober. Amused by his pjs and Ugg boots- probably his daughters. https://twitter.com/officialKeef/status/1253350430341554177

Reminds me of a Scoobie Doo tune as they approach a haunted house. Living in a ghost town that's a telling and simplistic lyric, TRUMPets screamed, yeah that may be Trump reference. Though I'd never think of Trump screaming. maybe seething.

Omg I joked about the critique of Keef right before it actually started. Ha For the critics out there, listen again you can actually hear keef sing. Charlie was Charlie Chaplinesque. Beautiful, wonderful, ridiculous fun for young and old. And a nod to the immutable. Unoutsourceable export British humour!

I am glad they had fun. Keith even sang and strummed a few times..... Ronnie was rockin'....you know he does this most days anyways! Charlie stole the show though.... Next tour, I want an upholstered chair next to the drum kit! His wife won't let him keep drums at home, too much racket!

I don't care if Charlie asks if we can hear him, Keith faces the wrong way, Mick struts out of screen or Ronnie's toddler take over controls.... I just appreciate the effort.
