Such a great gig! I've been to each tour since '98 and honestly the standard the band maintain is incredible. I don't know how Jagger does it... but may he continue for as long as he wants. Yes there were a couple of screw ups or' moments' but it's easy to forget theres a reason 'ya-yas' has overdubs, or that Hyde Park '69 was pretty out of tune. They

Just curious, is there a general consensus as to which of the 2021 shows were better? Or any real standout shows?

It’s a bit long, trim the edges and it’s a corker. Btw, a BtB promo video came with Castrol GTX Oil (I think sponsors at the time in UK at least)... any idea what was on it??

fantastic gig. i was in pit a. what a surprise to get SFM as an opener - great way to start a show - the band started as they meant to go on. seeing the sheer joy in their faces as they played was really nice to see. keith played well, i was at Barcelona last year and this was a 100% improvement. fool to cry... loved it. mick completely in to it, such a great song not played enough. highlig

I don't disagree...... it was one of the highlights of the Barca '17 show for me. BUT you have other threads on here complaining there are too many warhorses . So they're allowed warhorses, but only if they are the right warhorses.

QuoteDandelionPowderman It's fair enough that people don't like the solos. What I don't get is how important the solos on SFTD, HTW or GS are for some of you. Some of the best songs in the world and you let a little sour cream in the icing on the cake destroy the experience for you? I'll never understand that, and I'm a guitarist as well. Yep, same. All about the

Just got back from a fun gig! Had Pit tickets. Crowd were brilliant, yes everyone had their phones out, but that's life now... A few comments: Jagger is unbelievable. The energy, the commanding of the band, what a showman. Solid performance from Ronnie. Really carries the band along, you can see him guiding Keith, giving him cues, etc. Enjoyed his solos. Keith, after seeing earlier video

The audiences these days hardly bring any atmosphere or energy to the party. The band have always fed off that (and vice Versa of course).

I got in to the Stones because of Keith's rhythm guitar work. It blew me away the work on those early albums. As time has gone by the rhythm work has evolved in to what he calls 'ancient art of weaving', the fills thrown back and forth with Woody. To an extent that works, but it does mean we lose some of that drive/push'n'pull that we used to have. Given where he's a

I've ALWAYS wanted SFTD as an opener ever since they did Not Fade Away opening '94 tour. So glad to see it happen, really think it worked. Brave move, well done lads! My only comment would be that Ronnie needs to take the solo, but other than that. - top stuff!
