That's a great catch. Mike's cassette labels JFF specifically as one of the San Diego songs so we just presumed that was the case and didn't compare it to the other source for LA. We do have a full San Diego recording we believe was made by Mike's friend who attended with him but recorded on a separate rig. We'll get to that at some point. BK

It is an interesting request. Intellectually, it doesn't make sense to me, in that Mike recorded his masters with Dolby on and made his copies with Dolby on. Transferring with Dolby off would leave intact an artificial high-end boost (emphasis) that is not accurate to what he captured, in that Dolby decoding would tame (de-emphasis), which is how the Dolby system works in a nutshell (see
