Is the dome retractable or is it always closed? I guess if always closed it makes for perfect weather at the concert!

So I decided I wanted to be there for the tour opener and will be arriving on Saturday. Too stressful to arrive on show day, with possible delayed flights etc. Anyone have any tips for things to do besides go up the Arch? Don't mind ubering places that aren't more than say 30 minutes away. Staying downtown. Thanks.

They likely rehearse many different songs so they themselves can have some fun and not get bored, not to play on tour.

Well if it's the sound you are worried about, I am an amateur drummer (for a number of years now) and am friends with a number of high end touring professional drummers (that # is 2), who both told me that Steve Jordan is top notch and that any good professional drummer (which Steve Jordan definitely is) can sound essentially exactly like Charlie if they want to and fans in a stadium or aren

I have to believe they will do something regarding Charlie. They won’t just pretend nothing happened.

Covid, saturaation and ticket pricing all play a part in lack of interest this go around. As does the fact that there is likely not a ton of interest in people under 50 in seeing them. They likely saw them 2 years ago and that one time was enough to check "see Rolling Stones live" off their bucket list. Unlikely that losing Charlie, while extremely sad for us, has any real effect on ove

Papo--perfectly said! If they want to play on, then they should play on. If they want to stop, they should stop. Totally up to them. I truly don't understand the fans on here who purport to know better than the Boys themselves. If as a fan you don't want to go, then don't go. If you do want to go, then go. It's really very simple and not for any of us to judge. Pretty damn pre

For those of you who are surprised that the Stones are trying to pull off this tour, are you also surprised that their will be approximately 30-40 stadiums full of college football fans in just 2 days all across the country? And then next weekend and every weekend thereafter, for approximately the next 17 weekends, there will be over 50 stadiums full of people at college and NFL football games (

Jon--with many airline tickets now, if you don't use them you get a credit for the value of the ticket for a year or more so hopefully that won't be an issue for you. Right now I am planning on Charlotte and Tampa and considering St. Louis because don't want to miss any special Charlie tribute for the first show. Although I feel the tribute will happen at all the shows this tour. I

Thank you so much Kovach. To me, that is what this board is best at, helping other fans. I think I will stay at the Marriott St Louis Grand. Like a lot of you probably, I am torn by wanting to see as many shows as possible while worried about COVID. I am fully vaccinated but still worry with Delta surging. Trying to balance my firm belief that this will be the last US tour so my last tour to s

I don't agree stopping is the "high road". None of us know what Charlie would have wanted the band to do so it's not our right to say. If Charlie told them to continue on, what right does anyone have to say no they shouldn't. Only the 4 of them know what's going on inside the band. Anything said by anyone else is pure conjecture and entirely unfair.

And college and pro football are scheduled for full stadiums with no talk of that not being the case. And it starts up in less than 2 weeks. Stones will roll unless something happens in their camp. Otherwise, start me up!!

Just keep reminding yourselves--NFL and college football still cranking up with full stadiums a month before the Stones are set to roll. If that starts changing to no or limited fans, then boys and girls, we have a problem. Until then, Start me up!!

Here's a wild and crazy thought. I know it's way out there but what if Mick and Keith decided that they really enjoy playing live in front of large crowds and that window is closing and they went to Charlie and asked if he minded and Charlie said "go ahead I don't mind at all". Nah, that's way too far fetched to have happened. Makes much more sense that they are betr

The NFL and college football start up before the Stones tour by about a month, roughly, and they will have full stadiums, at least as of now. So there is no reason to believe the Stones tour won't proceed as scheduled unless something starts happening with the football crowds first.

Steffialicia--I am right there with you. Planning on Charlotte and Tampa. I am double vax for awhile now but with this surge of Delta I am thinking twice about it. Supposedly with vax pretty safe and I gotta believe this will be last time to see the boys in the USA so I am still leaning towards going but will definitely see how this all shakes out in next couple months. A lot can change in that t
