Quotepeoplewitheyes I'm really enjoying Who Are You Delux. I headed straight to discs 2 and 3 for the alternative mixes, versions, demos etc. I've loved the album for a few decades, and it is a real treat for the ears and heart. Damn Pete was a creative dynamo (even at what was a pretty low point for him), and The Ox! Dang, popping bass matching the arpeggiated synths on Sister Disco

Street Fighting Man was on the Jumping Jack Flash (live) single from 1991 and according to the sleeve notes is taken from At The Max. I do not know if this is the same version as on the Atlantic City expanded release.

Quotegeorgelicks With the Stones it's more difficult, but Mick could do duets with Morgan Wallen, Harry Styles, SZA, Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Dua Lipa...whoever he really wants to. I have virtually all of Mick's solo releases but if he did an album of duets with these artists, I wouldn't buy or stream it.

QuoteRank Stranger All the Transmission Impossible shows I ever saw were lossy... Lossy or otherwise the Pink Floyd Transmission Impossible 3xCD is great. BBC sessions, two BBC concerts and part of Montreux 1970.

Odeon73? I was always envious of his first show at Birmingham Odeon in 1973. I saw Alice Cooper there a long time ago and it must have been fantastic to see the Stones there at one of their peaks.

I was at the Waterloo showing last night to see this film for the first time. The sound was outstanding with Bill high in the mix and Matt Cifford and his annoying synthesised sh1t practically inaudible. I don't know if this was because they reverted to the Steel Wheels set up for the last shows of the tour rather than the Urban Jungle set up. I disagree with johnnythunders in that there

I have this LP too (probably bought it 40 years ago). From memory it plays a bit fast, so it may be difficult to compare with a speed corrected version.

Fantastic show at the London Palladium last night. His band were stellar, particularly the two interchangeable guitarists/drummers (one even played the sax). Graham's voice was spot on and the harmonies were as close to CSN as you can get. The final song Suite: Judy Blue Eyes was outstanding as was the young guitar player who handled the Stephen Stills parts.

I was well into Rush in my youth up until the time I saw them for the first and only time in 1981. They were just too good, they could have been miming! When Neil Peart died in 2020 it reawakened my interest in them and I too thought Geddy and Alex were great at the Taylor Hawkins tribute. If they come to the UK I will try and get a ticket.

I saw The Yardbirds as 'Box of Frogs' at The Marquee in 1983. I was hoping for Beck, Page or Clapton guest appearances but they didn't show. Don't remember much about the show itself ... too long ago. RIP Chris

QuoteBig Al Why, exactly, are they selling so poorly? Should the Who have picked smaller arenas? I know the whole Zak Starkey affair may have painted them in a poor light, but is that enough for the casual fans? I doubt the Zak Starkey affair would concern casual fans. These will be similar casual fans who shelled out to see Fleetwood Mac without Lindsey Buckingham.

QuoteGasLightStreet It all makes sense now. Yet. The Who have drank the wrong tea to fire Zak. They're a solid load of old tossers. They're not worth bothering with. Why anyone would pay to go see "The Who" is a tosser. The Fake Who. That would make me a Grade 1 Tosser, Gaslight!

My first Stones bootleg was Reverse Blues which was a double album combination of Bedspring Symphony and Out On Bail in 1980. I remember asking the dealer if it was all recorded in 1978 such was my knowledge of setlists back then and he said it was. All Down The Line is on both recordings but only listed once on the cover otherwise I might have been suspicious. As has been said above, the need

I was there last night and they were great with the reduced band and no orchestra. Roger's voice was excellent and particularly good on Love Reign O'er Me as was said earlier. Love Ain't For Keeping and The Song Is Over were the stand outs for me as I had not seen these performed live before.

Quotebuddywaters Daspy, would you be more keen to share if it was sent privately? Your mix of Rambler is the best I have heard, and I was at the show. It's better than it was live. I agree. I was at this show too and Daspy's MR recording is by far the best of the few recordings that I have heard. I too would love a copy of the complete recording.

A top notch performance last night. Although his voice is a bit fragile these days he does not shy away from the potentially voice straining Maybe I'm Amazed and Helter Skelter. It was a real celebration of his music and long may that continue. I hope that his parting shot of "see you next time" does not relate to tonight's show and he continues to tour.

My understanding was that it was only the PG vocals that were tweaked/re-recorded for It! when this came out previously as part of the box set. The encores (Watcher of the Skies and The Musical Box) have been available for years. I have these on a single vinyl boot called As Through Emerald City which I bought in 1980. It has some of the Lamb tracks from the Shrine Auditorium as well, includ
