Keith doesn't look enthusiastic at all answering this question about touring to support the new album. Of course, being a professional in this business for 60+ years, he exactly knows how to respond - so it was a diplomatic answer but not a one giving much hope... I think a few one-off shows would be an absolute best they could come up with. A whole tour (15 or more dates) - I cannot see it

Regarding bass parts on HD, back then Darryl Jones was unavailable to join for studio work due to previous commitments (I guess solo stuff or whatever), but from what I am aware, he participated at least on some recordings back in London last year so I expect to hear him significantly on majority of FT.

Flew in from Poland for night #2. Quite an experience seeing Slowhand in 1000 cap. local venue, where that sort of music truly shines. Obviously his playing is not as it used to be a decade or more ago, but he and the band still delivered the goods. Adding "Sheriff" was a nice touch although I would also keep "White Room" or any more Cream material in (nothing can beat Ginger

It is also worth adding that way over 30 copies of the single were sold on eBay for as much as $2500 (!!) , 13 copies on Discogs (average median of $1500) and there are still around a dozen copies for sale on eBay + Discogs. Some of them might be coming from flippers, but I guess several are being sold by industry people and store owners who kept a copy or two aside.

Quotebitusa2012How do “we know some record stores decided to keep a few for themselves”???? Have some record stores actually copped to this? Or are you assuming based on the fact that not all copies are accounted for on IORR? If you checked sales history on eBay and Discogs, it is pretty obvious that some of those who ended up on secondary market were coming from the stores, not flippers. Als

QuoteNankstone Thanks for the additional data, especially Irix for the numerous coordinates of the locations and the additional countries (Switzerland & Ireland). Perhaps the Czech Republic, Greece, or Mexico are also included? Otherwise, now almost are missing 5 UK locations, 7 locations in the Netherlands, and 25 in the USA. Then all the locations should be known, and only the exact num

Unfortunately it is obvious that significant number of Cockroaches LPs ended up being handed under the table or went straight to secondary market. For example judging by numbers available in Poland (at least 81-92) and just 7 copies sold in store, it looks that at least 5 were distributed unofficially - one was shown by one of Polish music journalists few hours before on-sale date. Btw, I wond

Nice melancholic song but weird choice for a first single. It hits similar tones as "Now and Then". Considering Andrew Watt's involvement, I would rather expect some rocking tune as first single - unless they store it closer to release date.

Quotegeorgelicks They're not going to be competing for the number one spot on the charts, especially in the UK. A June 5th release date is the most logical; we'll have to see if they can meet that deadline with an announcement 45 days prior, around April 15th-20th. I don't see them releasing the album in the middle of the World Cup; everyone's attention will be focused on that

Sir Paul McCartney's new (and Andrew Watt-produced) album The Boys Of Dungeon Lane will be out on May 29. Likely means Stones album will not be out in similar time frame to avoid competition - there ain't room on the market for 2 big classic rock legacy releases at the same time.

Let's be honest, Ronnie didn't manage to sell out all UK shows on the last run in 2019 and considering high ticket price, it might be hard to sell all 3000 tickets momentarily. I guess based on demand more shows will be added throughout the summer - I can imagine cities like London, Paris or Barcelona getting a gig or two.

Quoterollmops If Keith had committed to the 2026 European tour, it is probable that right now he would working, getting ready therefore stress out due to major obligations. Instead, he seems super relaxed on that picture so one can understand his decision not to commit.Enjoy life Keith! If the tour would start in May as projected, rehearsals would begin sometime in April giving him full Winter

So friend got a twisted anckle and unable to attend at the last minute. He is willing to share his ticket but would appreciate to get a signed LP in return. I know it's a short call but if anyone's interested, let me know. NO LONGER VALID.

Metallica, who is rather a huge global live act, had trouble selling out 2 nights (with 2 completely different setlists) at Stade de France 2 years ago and packed maybe 96k out of 115k tickets available, roughly 83% of total capacity.... I doubt the Stones would risk a financial failure of not selling out the whole stadium that late in their marvelous concert career... Question is if they wil

QuoteSpud I always wonder whether they really do ignore the reality that every tour could now be the last... ...or whether they do, between themselves, seriously entertain that thought. ...because that could ultimately have great influence on where tours finish. I remember a lot of media was saying in 2022 that Waldbuhne show is likely their last ever... And here we are, 20+ shows l

Quotewelshphil They can still play 2 shows in Vienna on the 26th and 29th July . Knowing full well both shows will sell out ! Doubt Mick would like to play a show on his B-day, he seems to prefer to celebrate it with his family.

Now they will combine 28 shows from 2017-2018 into 3 month tour with maybe 18-20 dates tops. So for sure some of the markets will be down with number of dates - I don't expect more than 2-3 shows in either UK or Germany this time around.

Saw David Gilmour recently in Circo Massimo - spectacular venue (although for Gilmour scalled down to approx. 13k and all seated). It would be the perfect spot (unless you are far in the back).

Managed to grab a ticket to Saturday rehearsal. It was really a full-blown 2.5h show with production etc. The only difference is there was no elevated stage but rather all production was placed on the floor with just 1500 lucky ones in the stalls. The show is phenomenal and new songs gel well with classic Floyd material. David's voice might not be strong anymore, but with back-up singers (in

It kinda seems to me that Universal likely backed off from their initial commitment for 18-months marketing / promo activities for "Hackney Diamonds". I don't recall much label support since the "Live" version got released last December - no more singles, cancelled (?) documentary project and kinda lost momentum to keep the album fresh / spoken about. Any inside info why

Quoteschwonek I think the Stones could pull off a multiple nights tour - London, Berlin, Rome, Stockholm, Paris and 2-4 nights in the biggest places possible. But they don't want to - seems they still prefer the old-school way of touring and reaching as many citites / countries as possible, as opposed to limited residencies.

QuoteGerardHennessy Its all very well listing the relatively large number of different venues in London, the band will want to avoid clashing with other big acts performing at the same time. Oasis and Coldplay will attract reasonably significant numbers of punters who might otherwise go to see The Stones. Oasis are the really big counter attraction given the fact it will be their reunion appr
