QuoteTopi The word around the campfire before was that the Stones wanted to tour in 2021 but the insurance companies wanted to push it back to 2022. Also, I heard this: "The logistics company that handles their trucks were receiving inquiries to tour as early as May. May of course won’t be happening but it does show their intent to tour sooner than later." I remember one of the

QuoteMisterDDDD Nice! Count this amongst one of my favorite shows. Chicago 2 was also great, but the energy in the stadium for this opener was electric. Everyone in the stadium, including the band it seemed, was excited and a bit nervous to see Mick back in action after the heart issue. In Mick's run down the catwalk and back during SFM (4:25), his attitude said it all.. he was back..

QuoteTopi Quotetimbernardis We really have no idea at this point what is going to happen, but I would put some stock in what BV has said, especially if he has spoken with Mick. I don't think I EVER recall a post of his where he stated that he had had a communication with a band member of this sort. plexi You took that seriously? I took the spoke with Mick part as a joke. I did

Quotebv Life will be normal within the next 12 months. The Rolling Stones will perform live in some way during the next 12-18 months. I am ready wherever they go. Best post I've read in a while.

QuoteMr Jimmy I wouldn't be at all surprised if there is an announcement over the next few days confirming rescheduled US tour dates for Spring 2022. Agree with other posts here that something is likely to be announced soon, what with the recent social media activity. My thought exactly since it’s clear 2021 won’t be viable and that 2022 should be.

Quotegrzegorz67 QuoteHairball Sure georgie - I could see 2022 happening in some way, but it would be much different than what was originally planned with these postponed US shows. Maybe a small number of small shows at small venues with small handful of people in attendance socially distanced and masked to commemorate the 60th - London would be the obvious choice. But there's still plen

QuoteJDSAM1994 I think a fall 2021 tour is a bit of a long shot with uncertainty here in the U.S. by the fall of 2021 we might start returning to normal. There probably isn’t enough time for us to achieve herd immunity and for them to confidently schedule a tour. But I do think that the 2020 tour will be canceled eventually and replaced with a 60th tour in big markets. If they were going to canc

Some optimism in general regarding a return to normalcy. I’m not suggesting in any way that the Stones tour in 2021, this is more in regards to hope for 2022 and events that are already rescheduled with new dates.

Quoteartedm The source added that Jagger’s in peak shape and wants to tour again next year. “He has made a complete recovery, and is making his signature moves in private rehearsals,” the source said. “He tells insiders the Stones hope to tour in 2021, or when it’s safe to return to the stage.” I think its going to be more like when it's safe to return to the stage (from quote above).

QuoteTopi Saw this on Facebook. I was curious as to the source of the original post. The post was made on LinkedIn by the owner of a trucking/logistics company. Looks like the possible owner of the transportation company for the Stones production equipment based on the pictures. Interesting that the person posted it on LinkedIn of all platforms.

QuoteHairball Just heard that those 18 and under in the US might not get a vaccine until the end of next summer and in to the fall, so that might have some consequences when planning large concerts in stadiums regarding ticket sales, etc. for many bands. If that is true, the Stones might want to wait to re-schedule any US shows until the Spring/Summer of 2022, but I have my doubts the insurance c

I’d say the chances of any large scale shows in 2021 are remote at best. Reality is that it will be 2022 before we see shows at the same scale as the Stones. I think it’s possible that mid size shows (small to large theaters) could resume in Fall/Winter 2021. Anything sooner than that feels like wishful thinking at best.

Not sure if it's relevant, but I spoke to a Ticketmaster representative related to a refund for one of the Stones' show for the postponed tour. AEG has authorized refunds through March 2022. May indicate that they are already operating with 2022 as Plan A. May be nothing, but figured I'd share.

I think something with a way out date in March happened last time when they rescheduled for Mick's procedure. Someone got an email about an outdoor venue for I actually think it was March 2022. In any event, the only thing I think it might indicate is that maybe behind the scenes, they are adjusting the dates, but I do not think March 2022 is an accurate month. Year..................quite

Quotefloodonthepage I imagine this has happened for other cities too, but a TON of pretty good tickets are now available for Minneapolis...which makes me want to refund the ones I have and upgrade...though I know many would say it's all likely for nothing and that I'll likely be just getting a refund for any ungrade too...it's still a tempting thought. I did this for Nashville.

QuoteHairball Surprised there's been no announcement regarding either a reschedule or more likely cancellation. Every other band I can think of has taken those steps to either reschedule or cancel, but the Stones seem to be dragging it on and on. Some bands such as ZZ Top have even rescheduled twice! Not sure what the Stones are waiting for...maybe a miracle? Oh well, nice of them to have o

QuoteMisterDDDD Quotebv I am impressed by the optimists who are ready to tour any time soon, but with the band average age now ticking fast to the 80's, and they all being in the high risk group, we don't really want them out on the road on NYC, LA or any other city. I don't understand why people expect Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie to expose them selves to the virus now, or in

FYI Biggest item is it sounds like if show isn’t rescheduled within 60 days of May 1st, the 30 day window will open in early July and likely close in early August. Something to monitor if you have tickets still. I would think this would motivate companies to announce rescheduled dates or risk people cashing due to unknown future date.

QuoteMisterDDDD QuoteStonedInTokyo QuoteMisterDDDD The Stones should consider bringing back their lotus stage to open this new, largest football stadium in the world, lotus stadium being built in China to open in 2022. One day one of them might not be too comfortable staying on the road for three months anymore. The virus is a bump in the road
