Stones rehearsing 9 new tracks. Looks like the Stones are really going for it this tour without the safety net. It's going to be great to hear new material the way it's supposed to sound with real vocals and real sounding guitars. I'm not one for the computer enhanced over production and condensed sound, let's see what the Stones really sound like live and unleashed at age

Quote5strings Where Can i find the best and clean version of Slave long version 12'' Thanks I find this one Mick's voice here just incredible, so fresh and mesmerising, honestly at this period Mick could sing nursery rhymes and I'd pay to listen. You can't sing like this unless your soul is in it.

QuoteStoneage It is what it is. The rhythm section is gone. 60 percent of the band is left. The song writing duo is not a duo anymore. Since decades. The renowned guests do not make a difference. Still, I'm glad that they finally released some new music instead of touring warhorses around the clock. They are done now. It doesn't matter what they do next. It's been a long run th

If I were to make the record perfect, I would kick out Bite My Head Off and Rolling Stone Blues, start with Living In A Ghost Town and add Eazy Sleazy before SSOH. It's hard to believe how different all us Stones fans fee

It's weird hearing someone with a voice sing these songs, doesn't work, Micks grunts and vocal manurisms far outweigh Chers voice, i don't think she gets this music, it's all showbizy with no substance or attitude , although Mick and Tina Live Aid was pure cringe.

For steel wheel it is sad sad sad, for vodoo lounge love is strong, for bridges to babylon it is flip the switch and for A bigger banf it is Rough justice. Quotefrankotero Mischa063, I’m in the same situation. I had to wait until 1981 because I grew up in the States. I’m also hoping for a Euro Tour, now I live in Portugal I got into them in 82' age 17 so being English had to wait until 1990 to see them, it felt like an eternity but we'll worth the wait.

It's a bit early for rehearsals, at least another 3 weeks away. Interesting to see if they try something new / different other than a few new tracks from the album. New tracks usually get dropped by Mick if he doesn't get enough applause hehe so expect two new songs at the most after the first few shows, hope I'm wrong though.
