With just 2 weeks to opening night and still no openers announced, I’m beginning to wonder if maybe there won’t be any? Especially as most of the shows have an 8pm start time.

Followyoudown - re: parking. Have you tried pre-booking parking? Apps like ParkWhiz you can search by location, find the cheapest, closest, whatever…I use it often.

I just watched it - not all that interesting really, but worth a watch. I pulled together a trip to China in 2014 that ended with their Macao show, off the coast of Hong Kong. We went to Beijing, the Li River, then Hong Kong followed by a chaotic ferry ride to Macao - which I describe as Chineses Vegas, on steroids. For sure the strangest Stones show I ever attended. It was at the mass

Quotekid killowatt Which is worst? Rear General Admission or 3rd level on Keith's side? I’ve enjoyed the couple shows I’ve done rear Gen Adm. Room to dance, sound is great. Sure, the view isn’t great - but like 80% of the stadium, you're watching on the screens.

Finally got around to giving the BluRay a watch. Solid show. Two quick observations - The high point for me is Stray Cat Blues. Jagger all of a sudden just erupts. It’s one of those moments that seem to happen sometimes at their shows where they’re cruising along and then all of a sudden it’s like, OK now we’re cooking. And is it just me, or is Ronnie buried in the mix? Much like the Grrr!

The first song I ever learned was the Ya Ya’s version of Sympathy for the Devil. Basically 3 chords (E,D, A) and then that B7 on the ‘pleased to meet you’ - but a good basis to get started. Agree with something easy to play - there’s no short cut to toughening up those finger tips, which can be painful at first. I’d say start with an acoustic. Will be easier to eventually try an electric, a

Mickschix - if I were going to buy (more) tix, I’d buy low row in Sec. 128 or 129. Yes, ‘side view’ but will get you very close to the stage. I had similar seats in AZ a couple years ago, and they were really good. Not ‘cheap’ ($450+) - but if saving $ is the main concern, Gen Adm. rear of field are showing $169. Sound is great, room to dance and move around.

Grabbed Tix to Mansfield MA. VERY reasonable for this day and age and for this lineup. Good Seats (not super close, but good) - $112! Should be great.

Hi Kerryann - no specific recommendations for Sedona, or other spots - just soak it all in. There is a main strip that is a bit touristy, but really..just anywhere you go is stunning.

Travelling NZ to Phoenix for first show, road trip to Vegas via Grand Canyon and R66, second show, fly to Seattle for third show, then Alaska land/cruise before flying home from Vancouver. Next 2 months are going to go incredibly slowly..... That will be a great trip! Most likely heading north from Phoenix you will go through Sedona, w

Ok, this might cause some debate, so let’s keep it friendly, OK? But, as acts like U2 are wowing crowds at the Sphere in Vegas (I saw the show last month, and it is mind blowing, musically and visually) and many big names are routinely putting on ‘spectacles’, especially in stadiums, should The Rolling Stones be putting ‘more’ into their stage production? Of course we don’t know yet what th

The Wiltern being the first of the 2002 Club shows to be fully released ...so maybe they will release Boston and all the others in the future too??[/quote I was at the Boston Orpheum too. Of my 41, and counting, shows - still stands as the best, not only due to the cozy confines (3, maybe 4,000) but the killer set list - which pretty much mirrors this. Exciting news!

Quotequietbeatle Hey everyone....thinking of skipping LA and going to Vegas. There are 160 dollar rear GA available....what is rear GA like? I take it it is standing only can you see and hear from there? Or should I get seats in 3 or 400 sections? I've never done a stadium show so thanks for advice. GA at the rear is standing. I’ve done it a couple times recently and really liked it. Roo

Quotefrankotero Official, this is amazing stuff. Wish it was the whole song though. There’s probably also tons of YouTube footage out there. I was able to find the entire DEc. 6 I saw last week - lot of fun watching it again from the comfort of my couch. I have some nice shots on my Facebook page of both the show and outside of The Sphere, including all of With or Without You that came out re

ron091: it really is on a whole other level. It’s insane. Couple quick tips: Give yourself plenty of time to get in there - it took us almost 1/2 hour walking just from the Venetian next door! And to which - wear comfy shoes. I forgot how massive these places are. It’s right next door - 1/2 hour later of trudging along… LOL. Where are your seats?

Quick visit to Vegas to see U2 at the Sphere Wednesday. (I thought there was a thread about the band, but I couldn’t find it in a search). I know I’ve seen others here who saw earlier shows weigh in, and I have yet to hear anything that didn’t include words like ‘amazing.’ The Sphere really is unbelievable. Total game changer, really. You’ve never seen anything like it, because there is

QuoteNashvilleBlues Quoterubyeveryday Overall, I think that Rear GA for under $200 is the best "deal" here. Agree? To me, yes. I agree also. Have done GA back of field a couple times and had a blast. Plenty of room to dance, easy access to drinks. Not the best view of course, but sound is great.

Going to see U2 at the Sphere in a couple weeks. Will report back. Besides it being ‘only 20K’ the other thing, just given the nature of the place (which looks unreal) is I’m not sure if it’s a good fit for a 1 or 2 nighter. I mean - could the Stones play on a stage there - sure. But the point of the place looks to be the visual impact, which likely requires a lot of planning/production. I
