QuoteGasLightStreet Quotedcba Imho he was a one-trick pony mainly turning albums he worked into some hazy foggy sonic adventures. It wouldn't work with a band whose production motto has always been "make it simple and dry sounding". Plus I don't think Keith would say "ok" to a producer telling him to add layers after layers of guitar overdubbing. Lansois is not

QuotePalace Revolution 2000 Quotehbwriter i'm still playing this album EVERY day - but...... how could they omit wyman from the sleeve??? I'm asking myself now if it is a legal matter. They must have learned a lesson when revisiting these albums/ boots for reissues. To realize how vital Taylor, Jones and Wyman have been to their most iconic material.Bill's bass playing

I saw them at Massey Hall a few times mid and late 70s. They did indeed rock. I'm pretty sure a little known band called AC/DC with Bon opened for them once. Loudest thing I ever heard. It could have been REO Speedwagon that Bon and the boys opened for but I can't be sure. Someone named Mary Jane was involved.

Quotestanlove QuoteGetYerAngie Quotebitusa2012 QuoteDandelionPowderman Thin? How? To my ears the sound of Still Life has always been “thin”, as in, not full. It’s always sounded empty. Compared to the sound of YaYas and LYL it is completely devoid of soul. It’s empty. It’s.. thin. Plus, I HATE Jagger’s vocals on this record, in this era. No amount of repeated listening (and I DO lis

QuoteLSTNT Yes easy road. Look, I enjoyed the evening. Keith was Keith, never expect much from him at this stage. All I said is it was a missed opportunity to play Wino’s songs. If you take off your rose colored glasses you can see clearer. If you want to play Stones songs that’s great, just play with the house band. No need to call it the Wino’s.Yawn...

What else do they have to do? How long can it take? You've either got some good songs to finish up or you don't. I'm beginning to think they don't want to. Making an album seems onerous
