Love VT. Looking forward to the new album and seeing them live, again! What a show. What a band.

Atlanta was great. The Stones were in a great mood as was the crowd. They seem to feed off of each other. As John1982 points out everything was perfect. The sound was sublime. The show was worth going to just to see Keith running the catwalk. Not once, but twice. The one thing that surprised me, "You Gotta Move" was played so well, they should have played it more than once.

Velonbolin! Thank you! I saw Tommy with DP in Miami back in '76. He was very good that night. I was a fan before he joined and loved his solo work. He is still missed.

Bobby Keys to me, was as much a part of the fabric we call the Rolling Stones as Keith or Charlie. I manage to shake his hand back in Memphis. This was in '05. He is now with Nicky, Brian, Billy, Keith Harwood, Marshall and so many others that are the pathos called the legend of the Rolling Stones. His birthday is coming up, a day we need to celebrate. But today is a sad sad day.

I had a feeling when they announced the new guy, it was due to his health. Hope he will recover enough for the South America tour. The Stones without Bobby...well, he will be missed. He is a part of the fabric we call The Rolling Stones. At the same time, so where Ian Stewart, Nicky Hopkins, Billy Preston, Ian Mclagan, Blondie and many others. I guess the show must go on. Best wishes and a speedy

I cannot help but think they are concerned about Bobby Keyes health. Does he have the stamina for the shows? None of us are getting any younger. Of course, Bobby has to pass a Medical examination to make the tour. Still, it does make one pause and think of how fragile he has looked. Hope I am wrong.

What I loved about the show was the interaction between the band members. Keith forgetting to set his amp correctly drew wringing fingers and grins from Mick and Woody. All in good spirits. For some reason Keith seemed to struggle at times. He seemed preoccupied. Listening to the boot you can not hear it. The band was tight. Very tight. I think the heat left them with nothing to do but play. No a

stonesmuziefan, I saw them at the Omni in Atlanta on the 30th of July and in Greensboro NC at the Coliseum on the 31st. Then in Jacksonville on the 2nd of August. Jacksonville was the only outdoor show I attended. This was 3 consecutive dates on the "Tour of the Americas '75."

Jacksonville was my 3th show that summer. The other 2 were inside. I was down front and was able to view the interactions of the band. That in it's self would take a whole page. Loved it. The heat was brutal and the Stones came on stage in the afternoon. Of the 3, it was at the time my least favorite. I have since acquired all 3 shows. Jacksonville was a brilliantly played show. Of all the s

You would think after 39 years, Woody would have at least one song in set. But Bill Wyman was only on stage for 2 back in '12 and Mick Taylor has only played lead on 1 song since their tour of the states. Shame really. To be honest, Woody was picked for his persona. The 1st time I saw him with the Faces in '72, HE was a Rolling Stone.

EM did not include their best that was available. If it did, no TY. Who is to say what was left from 40 Licks sessions? The Stones are not the best judges of their own material.

Chuck has mention the Paris Lick sessions. He said Keith record one of his best. "Smooth 180." 2 cover songs have also been mention. I think we lost a great album, but the record company wanted a Greatest hits album. $$ wise they were correct. Just hope the songs surface one day.
