I see amazon has more of these cd's: New Jersey 1981, Montreal 1989, Detroit 1978, Keith Boston 1993, Miami soundcheck rehearsals 1994, Honolulu 1966 etc... All known bootleg stuff, but if you don't already have this, maybe it's interesting?

I was too youg in the seventies to realy watch and appreciate Starksy and Hutch, but I remember the opening credits, where you saw the car driving around garbage bins in narrow alleys and I thought that was very cool as a child. It was also quite something here in the Netherlands that our own Monique van de Ven ("Turkish Delight") participated in one of the episodes. I also though

Like jigsaw69 said: it was first shown on BBC2 as a Arena special around Christmas 1989. I was only a fan for half a year, so I didn't have seen much archive material to that point. It was incredible! Half a year later, around the Urban Jungle tour, it was released on VHS, which even a little more stuff on it (around 5-10 minutes). I bought also a dvd on bootleg from the Way of Wizard la

Got the vinyl single this evening from the postman. It's the orange one (I didn't even know there were three different versions to choose from). It looks very nice, collector's item.

Quotemicha063 QuoteBitchKeepsBitchin The Stones have become masters of music marketing. How many times have they released these same songs? I have all of these songs on multiple releases so because there is nothing "new" on this I'm taking a pass. I already have Paris Stripped limited edition from another release, this is for the completist. Or a newbie. Where else is the audio r

I can confirm those T-shirts were sold at the time. I have the Some Girls Steel Wheels T-shirt too. From the next year, the Urban Jungle Tour, I have also a Some Girls and Love You Live T-shirt. I know there was at least a 1990 Sticky Fingers T-shirt, but I didn't realy liked that one, so I didn't buy it. Can't remember the Exile T-shirt, but I don't think there were others

Oh! Nooo! Not Adre Rieu! Even in other countries this fellow Dutchman is terrorizing people's tastes with his obligatory shitty music, with a course: how do I kill beautiful classical music and bring it to the mass, who can shout along to it.

It happened before that the bonus track was not mentioned on the back cover. I remember back in the day when I wasn't realy familiar with Japanese bonus tracks, I heard about a bonus track on the Exile on Main str special edition. So I ordered the digipack 2cd version. When I recieved it I didn't see the bonus track on the back cover and I thought that they send me a wrong version, b

Yes, I know but I don't want studio tracks on a live album. I bought all the singles for the extra live tracks, but that is not the same as having it all on the album. But now we have the complete Atlantic City official, which is great, but I would have loved to have a double live album of the 1989-90 tour thirty years ago.

It's not that I dislike the song, but I remember the frustration at the time was mainly for me that instead of these two new songs, there could have been two extra live songs on the record and I would have much preferred that, after all it was a live record. They could also have added, for example 2000 Light Years, Gimme Shelter, Undercover, or Harlem Shuffle.

Quotejackflash27 QuoteVoodooLounge13 Quotejackflash27 I am interested in buying a Barcelona picture disc, but The Rolling Stones shop in UK does not ship this item to the Netherlands. Are there any UK members willing to buy one for me at The Rolling Stones shop: (of course I pay in advance)? If so, please send me a message. Did you try ordering it from the US shop? Yes, does not work either,

Maybe I am just lucky this time, but I didn't buy from the official Store (never buy records from them if you wanna get it on release date). I got almost everything right now and without any scratches or other problems. I received between last Friday and today: From Amazon uk the green vinyl (got it yesterday) From Jpc I think the clear vinyl, or was it the purple one? Last Friday

"The Party" is a great Blake Edwards/Peter Sellers collaboration. The first time I saw it on tv it was at a Christmas vacation somewhere in the eighties, together with my mother. I literally fell off the couch laughing. Although it was of course never as much fun at subsequent screenings, I still think it is a very funny and enjoyable film ...but honestly, I don't think the movie

QuoteVoodooLounge13 Quotedownagain I have pre-ordered the LP from both Amazon (Canada) and my local, indie record shop. As far as Amazon goes, do they typically have a record actually arrive on your doorstep on the release date or is that they day they will ship it? For my Amazon order, I had the option of getting it release day if I subscribed to Prime, or on 10/23. Since I don't have
