Whilst people are reporting the problem of stocks at Supermarkets little attention in the media to the potential problem of food supplies in the medium term. Singapore, for example imports 93% of its requirements. Others maybe less high, but with travel restrictions how will supplies be delivered? Yes agreed, this maybe the biggest crisis since WW2. I have always thought the Vietnam War was the biggest crisis. In terms of casualties....3 million plus. Dreadful. Could have been avoided? Maybe. Two things that annoy me about this particular interview: 1. Crosby doesnt get challenged about his remarks re his finances; clearly he is asset rich, if cash poor. 2. His comments re finances are a bit much coming from an ageing hippie who in his younger days used to criticise big business and wealthy individuals for their obsession with money.
