Keith after the interview he did with "Senkveld with Thomas & Harald" in Paris on Nov. 9th. The three of them had a nice chat and a good laugh. Keith after being interviewed by Bård Ose, who wrote the book "30 years with The Rolling Stones" in 1993. They spent an hour together. Bård has already made two radio programs and another one, a one hour special, will be a

I asked him about an updated version while we were in Paris, and he interviewed Keith. He says it's something he'd like to do, but he doesn't have the time, yet. He's very thorough and wouldn't dream of doing just a semi-good job. And yes - the first book (from '93) is very good indeed. And sold out. If you're lucky, you can find a copy in a secon hand store, l

Quotepaulywaul OK, have successfully upgraded to a 'Photobucket Pro' account, so the links work again and the pics are there. And er yes ......... I had a quick look on that Dutch site, and those are indeed my images. Thanks to everyone by the way who's getting upset about the fact that there are people out there who are prepared to "lift" pictures and post them elsewh

You lucky man! Those are some truly amazing ladies. That gold top Gibson Les Paul made me think of a funny story: - Blondie Chaplin brought a gold top around to my place a couple of years ago. We were sitting in my living room, playing music, sipping wine and then - suddenly - at around 2 AM, the fire alarm went off! The whole building had to be evacuated. I grabbed the gold top, jumped into my

ROPENI:I absolutely have to tidy up in a crucial misunderstanding: Keith's not my boss. He's never told me to say this or that. The publishing house who has aquired the rights to his book in Norway (Bazar Forlag) is a client of my PR company. And next time you quote one of my posts, please do NOT write inside the post, because it looks as if I wrote the things you're saying. S

The winners will be announced as soon as the judge/editor/web master has had the time to read all the entries. Then I'll head off to the post office and send the books, as soon as I get the correct addresses. Yes - thare are some very nice stories here, Hansie! It's gonna be a tough job for BV. But no matter what his decission is, I feel quite sure that none of the winners will pu

Remember the deadline: tonight at midnight CET. I know a lot of people were planning to order the iorr.org T-shirts, then postponed it - and missed the deadline. Just to ensure that you don't miss deadline: IT'S tonight - midnight CET. (6PM in NYC, 23.00 in London, 01.00 AM in Helsinki) If you've already entered the competition, read through your entry and see if it's

Oh, I was watching tennins with Blondie Chaplin (The French Open and Wimbledon last year), and he told me who's a fan of which player. Keith's a huge tennis fan and has been for decades. They often watch tennis backstage on tour - and in various rooms. The Federer-camp gets massive support. Ronnie and a handfull of others support Nadal. And everyone loves Andy Murray. They are British,

Quotefrankotero Wow, how to describe why I desrerve this or how big of a Stones fan that I am. Certainly would love to have Keef's autograph, but not going to beg. This must be difficult for BV and Addicted. Thanks to them for the effort and gesture though. Got to wonder if the books will end up with two lucky die hard fans, not someone who's going to sell it or just wants to win a cont

Quotelynn1 Why? Because...... As I wrote in the post above - changing the rules during - in the middle of a competition - that's just not acceptable. Some people have written good posts, and they're definitely in the competition. If you want the chance to win a book - deal with the rules, because they're NOT subject to change during the competition. If you disagree with the ru

Yes, targeted at the growing gay community in the disco era. They also had some appeal to the non gay market, because they had catchy songs, a great sense of humour and were definitely something very different and new. However - they didn't last long. (Are they still alive? I think I heard something about some of them being hiv positive? Could be wrong, though.)

Definitely no boy band - although there was never any doubt about their sex - an all male band. Boy bands - the way I define them - is more or less linked up to a management that puts good looking young men together in a group. Not necessarily because of their musical talents. Then they teach them how to sing (some more or less successfull attempts have been done!), dance and based on market res

Quotesweetcharmedlife Just my humble opinion. But rather than having people beg or grovel for the book. Wouldn't it just be easier to have a random drawing. Who's to say what makes someone a bigger or better fan than someone else. I mean if you just say I love Rolling Stones music. Isn't that enough? Sorry - we don't change the rules in the middle of a competition. That woul
