QuoteWitness QuoteLeonidP I agree, they are like comparing apples w/ oranges, but still ... boring? Is the Stones Wild Horses boring? Some might think so but I sure don't, and I don't see much a difference between that track and Wish You Were Here -- both are great! And in this case I do see a comparison. If I may, I would like to come with a vital objection: In this case it is not a

I never knew of them until 2 years ago ... my friend's cover band played Kiss This at a local pub and I thought it was great. I asked them after the show "what was that one tune ...?" Once I got home, I youtube'd it and the original was great as well, so I immediately bought both their albums. They have at least 6 or 7 songs that I really like. I just got Strange Days but

Meat Puppets, What To Do .... very nice version, never heard that before - and I own that album! - I bought it long ago but now I see this is there as a 'bonus' track (Meat Puppets II, famous for having the 3 songs covered by Nirvana during their unplugged performance. And of which the Meat Puppets played on as guests for those 3 songs).

I got to see BB King! ... Probably about a year before he died. I saw Willie Nelson too, for the first time, also a couple years ago. I am so glad I get to see both of these legends! Regrets ... I never saw The Clash!

Quotebakersfield Filler,..... and why bother? The album would be long enough without it. Someone said it's better than Respectable???? .....that remark leaves me speechless....! It can't hold Respectable's jock strap. But I still think its a great rocker nonetheless.

QuoteVirgin Priest Ok, let´s sum it up: many people call “Too Tight“ a filler, or 2nd rate. But even as a filler... it´s a filler in a league of it´s own – because it´s done by THE ROLLING STONES !! Priest Amen!

I Can See Clearly now is great! Stir It Up, not so much, can't compare to the original. Still it's very cool that he did it, I never knew that before. The 1967 original is good but t

QuoteMisterDDDD Just like with the Kennedy assasination and Sept.11th, I will always remember the exact moment when I learned of Lennon's assasination. Howard Cosell broke it to me and most of the US first on Monday Night Football. "Dead on Arrival"... Same with me, I was writing a letter to my brother at the moment I heard it. He was away at college, and the game was on, an

It's all outstanding to me! When I first discovered early Stones, I was fascinated by the great covers, Jimmy Reed, Willie Dixon, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Solomon Burke. I loved reading up on these greats and listening to their own music. I sort of accepted they were past that phase, but deep down I always wished them did some of those covers again, sort of like what they did wit
