I'm no expert(as far as fold downs and what not) but regardless love the sound of the MONO releases. Also the MONO 45 release of "Tumbling Dice" in the US is great, the drums nearly jump out of the grooves..the LP version is plodding in comparison. The DJ MONO copy of "Sticky Fingers" also just smokes especially "CYHMK"..but I'm just an old fool with cheap

Johnny Winter ( in my opinion) is the only artist that comes damn close to cutting the Stones with their own material just like they did with Chuck Berry..the live JJF is balls to the wall and Stray Cat is downright scary..

The liner notes about how much hard work and effort that went into the 2nd show is laughable because they took it directly from the combined Turd On The Run/Sister Morphine 30 year anniversary release in 98. Remastered and dropouts and/or missing pieces repaired by Cool Hand. I mean, who would fix those in EXACTLY the same way! haha so Tarantula, you are busted for the source.

Interferon was the old treatment and it made a lot of patients too sick to complete it..also it only had about a 40% success rate. In the last few years tho the new treatments like Harvoni and Eclusa have hardly no side effects and are over 99% effective. The treatment plan is 12 weeks and it usually has killed the virus way before that. The effectiveness is also determined by the genotype that a

My first listen to it probably wasn't fair since it was the 70s and I had the benefit of hearing all the great other chuck covers by the band first. The biggest surprise to me was the small supporting part played by the guitar instead of being guitar driven like the others..

That's kinda what I think. The Stones usually cut Chuck with his own material ( I don't know if anyone ever did this to the Stones consistently but Johnny Winter comes pretty close with JJF, Stray Cat, Let It Bleed..etc) so that is why hearing "Come On" like I did way after hearing all the other Berry tracks up until "Let It Rock" b side, it was so disappointing to m

The only "Chuck" song that they really bombed in my opinion...it has none of that tuff Berry sound. I can see how Andrew was probably trying to force them to make a "pop" sounding recording tho. In David Dalton's book ( I think it is from there) I remember reading how they hated it so badly it become necessary to force them to play it or they would intentionally leave it

I was at the FW show that was filmed...front row center of balcony( the venue broke down approx. 1800 on floor level and 1000 seats in balcony) I paid $100 for a $10 dollar seat and it was the best money I ever spent!!

Even tho The Stones helped turn me on to Chuck's original stuff more than anyone else, I still remember how as a 15 yr old in 1972 the "London Sessions" was kickin r n r!! (well, I know the live side is what drew a lot of attention but I wore out that studio side..not a weak tune on it) and later "Rock It" was a favorite too especially the re-cut "Havana Moon"..

You are right there, I never realized until you mentioned it that the rebirth disc (which was released first) is the same as the SECOND disc set of the dead man cumming boxset although to further add to the confusion on both boots it is claimed to be from foxboro sept 29. The rehearsal videos are the audio sources tho.

Yeah, but video tape has been used since the late 50s for some tv programs..and this was a pro video set up from 76 (wasn't LA 75 release original source video tape?_

This is the source for the "Better Than The real Rebirth" and the "Dead Man Cumming " box set. The box set was supposed to have one of the rehearsal show videos included but after turning over the audio the provider backed out on the video and only provided part of the 89 LA show. This was uploaded on yt a few years back and then taken down.

I've always disliked the "special guest" duets at the shows..kinda an ego stroke for Jagger that "I'm still cool and I know who's hip" and all that crap..just a wasted song that the time could be used for an actual rare Stones performance..Paisley is talented, that's no question but I don't get him but then I don't get Springsteen..

I bought my copy in 1973 from a store that had it in inventory since its release and it kicked ass from the first needle drop..I bought one of the Abkco "remastered digitally from master tapes" LP years later and it did not have half the fidelity of my original and only about 2/3 of the volume..

the only bootleg I can recall seeing used the reported set list made up of original tracks or tracks cuts by some that may have been there and referred to as"In Tribute To Stu". Obviously it wasn't the performance itself...I can't recall where I saw it ..

I know of those that had dealing with the source for the flood(awhile back) of 81 and 89 sbs that were nearly all sourced from video. A few years back we talked about this. This person who I've never had reason to doubt claims the guy had it and what he wanted was astronomical. He said he did let them view it or parts of it. The "Dead Man Cumming " Box Set (which I have an original

The original raw tape has(to my best memory) a couple of drop outs in JJF and the intro to Under Mt Thumb dropped out. When Cool Hand from SM/ Turd On The Run remastered the tape for the anniversary release years ago he used a piece of the first verse of JJF to repair the drop out in the last verse and (if I'm not mistaken) a piece of san diego 69 for the intro to Under My THumb. That's

I haven't compared these Portland shows to VG releases but I asked the uploader (and taper) and this was his response. I may have traded out a copy or two back in the day on cassette, but by '98, that was toward the tail-end of my first 'phase' of taping (I did very little between '00 and '09)...and the 'trading game' was starting to be infiltrated with
