I believe the longest hair in 63 probably belonged to some members of "The Pretty Things"...

I kinda like Turd On The Run's "Pearls At Swine" 2cd release. It's trimmed down some but it flows well and sounds a bit brighter to me..

My memory could be off but I was pretty sure this SM release was Aud sourced (although a superb one) Wasn't it same source as the Crystal Cat release?

I always felt that there was a lot of country influence in Keith's approach to harmony vocals. The "Buck Owens/Don Rich" style/sound in particular. Matter of fact, I guess Keith is Mick's "Don"! or perhaps the "George Jones/Donnie Young" sound...

The thing about it (regardless of which political side you fall) Trump is STILL using YCAGWYW at the conclusion of his "rallys" after the band has repeatedly asked that none of their songs be used.

well, that leaves us two things we know....the trump administration has nothing to do with this since "no leaks" and Jared Kushner will never hear them either...

If they could just refrain from playing "Miss You" again in life, it would be alright with me...then again it does provide a good time to go take a leak..

Yeah, the "Let It Rock" (which was also used on the maxi-single B side UK release of Brown Sugar along with Bitch) is the best LIR EVER(in my opinion) No version from the 78 tour can carry it's jockstrap...

I recommend Mickboy's "Presents TSMR" for an interesting twist on what it could have been with a different line-up. That was done back around what? 2000? Very enjoyable plus the bonus tracks are nice too, including MONO 45 mixes and a "We Love You" track with background vocals isolated ( kinda nice to hear John and Pauls vocals clearly!)

Well, you have a two guitar punch with those 1975 Faces shows, right? (at least the US ones?) Jesse Ed Davis played those shows I believe..

I had always wondered how Johnny Winter ( a Beaumont homey) came up with his arrangement that included a Cajun sounding vocal refrain (but I thought, growing up in the same area that it wasn't surprising). Hearing the original Stones demo years later, it blew my mind that The Stones originally intended it to be like that!

QuoteHomerSimpson What about Time is on my Side? From Wikipedia "The Rolling Stones recorded two versions of the song in 1964. The first version (a looser arrangement featuring a briefer, organ-only intro), recorded in London in June 1964, was released in the US in 1964, as a single from their album 12 X 5. The second version (more tightly arranged and featuring guitar in the intro), re

Chuck always said Maybelline was based on " Ida Red"...I would say very loosely based on it!! I think Chuck put quite a bit more of himself in this song than say Zep did in some of theirs..

the "Meat is Murder"(FW TEX) NB recording in great! ( I was there so I guess I'm a little biased) The reason I say this tho is while the quality is not up to the various SBs of this tour, the energy and better balanced sound really kicks, making for a better and more accurate listening experience. I'm always been a bit let down by the sbs being a bit sterile and too clean soun
