The overdubs on Ya Ya's are vastly overstated. That being said, I agree that HG is a far better live recording. The '78 rocks hardcore.

I don't think Brian would have a thing to do with the Stones as they are now. He always wanted to try new things musically. That hasn't been a priority of the band recently. I'd imagine he would have formed new bands and put out solo stuff here and there. Guess we'll never know.
