Quotestone-relics Wasn't Randy Hansen the bloke who claimed to be Jimi reincarnate? I saw him in Tempe, Arizona in 1979 and was bored out of my mind! "As we say in England, it can get a bit trainspottery" I was at the same Tempe Show! How funny.... DB What a small world! Were you as impressed as me? I felt I was in a minority of one!

QuoteBig Al One early song I would be interested in knowing more about is the one they supposedly wrote for The Beatles, as a thank you for I Wanna Be Your Man. Is there anything known about this? That'll be "Give Me Your Hand (I'll Hold It Tight)" eventually recorded as a B-side by Teddy Green and truly awful it was too! You can hear a snippet here:

I'm being followed by the Rolling Stones. They followed me here and they'll follow me home. They turn up at nightclubs and parties and bars trying to make me drink beer and talk about art. They cam

Thank you very much for your memories, Mr. Jopling, that's the best read I've had in ages. Oh, to have been there...but I was only seven! I look forward to the book if you ever finish it, but please post excerpts here whenever you please - you have a captive audience!

This has been discussed in depth on these pages at sometime in the past, but the only one I can find using the search function is this: I know for a fact that some kind soul uploaded the tracks and the reason I'm so certain is because I still have them on my hard drive, and here they are: FLAC-Zip
