Such a great piece of footage. Do human beings actually get any cooler than that?

Really good programme. Keith on top form. Bill was great too. When Keith was demonstrating sticking people up to get hold of their records I was laughing my head off!

Has anyone bought the CD+DVD pack? It says there's a CD of Theme Time radio stuff plus some 'lost' interview on the dvd. Just wondered if it's worth shelling out the extra cash... thanks

I'm a big fan of The Scream as well. They can be really great live - the xtrmntr tour was awesome. It's just a shame that Bobby Gillespie has proved to be a bit of a dick on occasion - ill-informed mouthing off about the Israel/ Palestine conflict for example and then appearing in Dazed and Confused modelling the latest designer miltary chic! Mani on the other hand is a salt of t

"By making these iconic albums available again - and retaining the essence of the original track listings and sleeve design - we believe that music fans will rediscover just why they are the world's greatest rock & roll band." Max Hole, EVP, Universal Music Group International. Sounds like Max Hole is talking out of his. Hole that is. 'The essence of the original tra

Thanks for posting all this! Annie Nightingale is great. She can really hold her own - interviews are so vetted and set up these days in comparison. Liked the Good Morning America stuff too - fun to see Mick being interviewed when drunk.

HB - just finished a really enjoyable hour with this. Actually one of the most revealing interviews about the Stones I've heard. Thanks! Interesting to hear Bill's take about the watershed period when 'the bottom line' took over in '89. Shame there wasn't still room for him from then on.

Ok, this is either pretty cool or sacrilege... This producer/ dj guy has done remixes of various combinations of songs - or 'mashups' as they say. There are a few Stones ones in there. 'Rolling confusion' for example mixes elements from Street fighting Man, Slave, Gimme Shelter and the Tempatations Ball of Confusion! There'a also a hilarious mix of Miss You and You

The only thing I know of appears on a mid '80s radio interview with Keith where he picked 10 songs he likes/ is influenced by. (Some kind person posted it on here a while back - can't find the link, sorry). One of his choices was Money for Nothing and I think he spoke briefly about how good he thought Mark Knopfler was. Wonder if he'd still think that today?

A very young and lanky looking Pete appears on the cover of this month's Mojo magazine - if anyone's interested, it's a special on the Who Sell Out - one of my personal favourites.

Quotetrainarollin Plays about 75 minutes, maybe 12 songs and talks WAY too much between. He can talk as much as he likes. He's f**in BB King! We're lucky to be alive at the same time as him - let alone be in the same room.

Quoterollmops I am sorry to say that his drumming on "Main offender" isn't smooth. May be the grunge influence has something to do with it. Mops Demon, Words of wonder, Runnin' too Deep... 'Grunge' - are you sure!?? Steve Jordan kicks arse on this album and everything else I've heard him play on. He can swing like hell when he wants too. For example, list

Good to see Mick in this sort of setting - you can understand why he would normally not do this sort of thing though. Apart from the band, the lead falls out of his mic at around 1:20 on the second clip!

QuoteChrisM Always dug the Iceman Sonyzzz. I only wish I had seen him play live. I was lucky enough to see him twice. The last time was in London at the Forum (then the Town & Country club). I remember him disappearing backstage mid-song and then he appeared from a side door and came out into the crowd, still playing! One cool dude was Albert. I also remember that he broke strings a coup
