QuoteTopi Happy24, I would still at least give it a try with the credit card company. But this wording leaves me puzzled: "The promoter decided that you will receive a refund" You posted that earlier. So are they now essentially calling vouchers refunds? Are they re-defining language? BTW, a long e-mail that says "pretty much nothing" sounds like a generic mass

QuoteIrix QuoteHappy24 So they will probably force me to accept some voucher from a promoter. Looks like the German Government makes the Voucher now optional (at least for Travel) - . We have still to wait for the final law .... We also have this for travel (a special law) and it is also optional. But it is optional for the travel agencies, not for the custommers. The travel agency decide

Today I got an e-mail from the promoter. It is long and says pretty much nothing, except that it speaks about the vouchers as a new compensation instead of money, that was agreed on by the government. So they will probably force me to accept some voucher from a promoter. And since it is apparently a new law in Germany (since 15.5.), I doubt that the credit card company will do anything about i

QuoteTopi Happy24, yes, you got tickets, but you didn't get what those tickets were good for : the show on that scheduled date. Worse yet, the show is cancelled entirely, not even postponed. So the way I see it is you did not get what you paid for. It doesn't matter whether Eventim is just the middle man/a ticket-selling platform. You as a consumer dealt with them, a service provide

The instructions at the eventim web concerning this concert changed slightly yesterday and are even clearer now: The promoter decided that you will receive a refund. For this, we require your tickets and contact information. Please go to and complete the ticket return form. The return form still doesn't work and the message I get after filling it has also changed: The ticket barcode

Well, I have heard about the vouchers and it is obviously a rip off, especially for someone who bought the tickets from abroad. But I am not surprized. In our country our government issued pretty much the same law but about travel agencies. So if your holiday gets cancelled, instead of money back, you get a voucher. One has to wonder, whar are contracts for. You, as a custommer, have to stick to

Returning tickets for canceled shows via the German Eventim. Any experience? Does anybody have any experience with returning tickets for canceled shows via the German Eventim these days? I have tickets for a concert that was supposed to take place in July in Germany. It has been canceled. Two weeks ago I recieved an e-mail from eventim, that I should fill the return form on their web. I

"They include not only deaths that are confirmed to be virus-related, but even those suspected of being linked, whether the victim was tested or not. As of Wednesday, Belgium, with a population of over 11.4 million, has counted a total 6,262 deaths from COVID-19 — roughly 540 per million citizens — and more than half of those deaths were in nursing homes. Of those 52%, just 4.5% were confir

Quoteslewan Simply put: Stripped (or at least those live CDs from the deluxe editions) seems to be the only live album that they ever released (all those other so called 'live' albums are heavily overdubbed and/or have been reworked in the studio) I don't think there are overdubs on Shine a Light. I am not 100% sure, but I recall a discussion about this when it was released and i

QuoteDREAMTIME New Poll from the USA says only 35% of people are interested in going back to large scale concerts. I don't know the exact question, but it seems to me like a huuuge number actualy. How many % of people were interested before? I mean - of course people who don't go to large scale concerts are not interested. And I would guess that less than 35% of people go to large sca

Okay, this is from a new article, published just 1 hour ago: "As of Monday, the covid-19 patient born in 1978 has also been registered at the General University Hospital in Prague (VFN) as one of the youngest victims. The immediate cause of his death, however, was bleeding into the brain due to inflammation of the heart." So the official cause of death is not the coronavirus, yet

Fair enoug, bv. Concerning the numbers of deaths caused by the virus, the only fact I know is, that in our country in the first five official cases of death it was officially said, that the cause of death was most likely not the coronavirus. Those 5 cases are from the very start part of the "total deaths" column on worldometers. Such thing was never discussed since then. Since then we o

Quotebv QuoteMileHigh It's a crisis. Spain, Italy, France, UK, Belgium, and Holland all have death rates above 10%. These are all modern countries and by now they have accumulated a massive sample size over a long period of time. It's very worrisome. You can NOT calculate death rates based on number of positive tests. Most of these countries hardly test, they test patients

Quotebv COVID-19 projections assuming full social distancing through May 2020 (IHME live data) It looks very promissing, in fact too much, I think. But it would be great if it was true. The last person who would die in our country would be on the 2nd of May. In Austria even little earlier, in Germany only a little later. Even Italy should have the end in sight. Hard to believe right now, but

The post was deleted – I can see that it doesn’t really contribute to the topic – but it made me write a report about what is going on in our country. It is in fact a lot about politics and if bv deletes it, I understand it. But I sincerely believe it belongs here, since the development is

QuoteThePaleRider QuoteHappy24 How come 68.000 dead people in Italy during four flu seasons (25.000 in one year!) was no global problem and 4.000 dead people by the end of March this year stop the World turning? This kind of talk infuriates me...Cornovirus is much more contagious than the common flu, mutates more rapidly than the common flu, has a much higher death rate than the common flu

QuoteDoxa Happy24, I think it is better to not think too much or postulate unnecessary entities. Occam's razor. There is no plot, there are no hidden agendas by WHO or whatever instances. No games by nasty people or tests by nasty nature. There is just a pandemia, with which the countries all over the world are trying to cope with the best they can. Protection masks are compulsory, eventhough it is impossible to buy one. The goverment is considering a complete lockdown for two weeks. People wouldn't be able to even buy food, if I understand it correctl
