Memo From Tina Turner
I picked up "The Biggest Bang" a few days ago and I love the Shanghai performance so I wonder if the whole show is available out there. Is it? I downloaded both the complete Saitama and Buenos Aires shows some time ago and I have a bootleg DVD of the Tokyo Dome show so I know those shows are available in the bootleg DVD circuit but I haven't seen the Shanghai show anywhere so fa

Best news ever regarding the Stones would be the announcement of a 4-DVD set featuring complete and unseen shows from the late 60's and the 70's taken straight from the Stones vaults but I don't see that happening anytime soon. I hope I'm wrong, though!

I tried to download skype but my computer doesn't let me for some reason. That sucks! I guess it won't be possible to get the files sent to me then but thanks a lot anyway, Vilhelm. It was really cool of you to offer to send me the files. I appreciate that! I guess I'll have to keep on looking for the DVD!

I'm looking for Jointrip's DVD release of "Keith Richards & The X-Pensive Winos - Live In Boston 1993" I saw a preview of that DVD and the image quality and sound quality were amazing so I'm really interested in that.

Whenever I search for info on bootleg DVD's by The Stones, I notice that there is a company or something called Jointrip which have put out a lot of Stones bootlegs DVD's with great quality. My question is, where can I find these Stones DVDs by Jointrip? Do they have a website or something where you can buy them?

Here's a video of "All Down The Line" from the Belgrade show. I love how Mick and Keith congratulate each other in the end of the song:

So then, they aren't really "stand-in guitarrists" but rather guest guitarrists, right? I know some guitar players like Ry Cooder, Wayne Perkins or Harvey Mandel have played on certain songs from some Stones albums but they are credited on the albums so they wouldn't really qualify as "stand-in guitarrists". Thanks for clarifying, "with sssoul".

I was reading an old thread about Led Zeppelin and plagiarism and I came across this post by a poster called Bingo: Quote...all music is borrowed and tinkered with....at least Jimmy plays his guitar parts....how many stand in guitarists have the Stones used on their albums? Enlgish is not my first language so I have to ask...What does "stand in guitarrists" mean? Does this mean som

The 1994 remasters sound fine to my ears. I guess it would be cool for some of us hardcore fans to get those albums with improved sound quality over the current CD editions but remastering those records and releasing them again wouldn't do the Stones any favours, especially if we take into account that most people see them as "greedy". Most people would be like "Look, the

Pardon my ignorance but I've read numerous articles and threads about "Shine A Light" and I still haven't been able to figure out what it is/ will be. Is it a documentary? Is it a live show? Will it be something like "The Last Waltz" by The Band, which was also directed by Scorsese? If so, is this a kind of farewell like "The Last Waltz" was? Please expl

I'm talking about their 1968 appearance doing "Sympathy For The Devil" and "Jumping Jack Flash" not the 1969 appearance when they did "You Can't Always Get What You Want". I have a couple of pics, I wonder if there are any more pics of that appearance... Please post them! Thanks!
