Arena gig pricing in the uk has taken an interesting (upward) turn post covid and the lunacy of brexit The shame for me is it prices out casual gig attendance of bands I may find interesting. Paramore for example - 90 gbp got a decent ticket too much for a casual fan, if this was the right side of 50 quid I may have gone for it Still sone good examples of reasonable pricing tho - best seats fo

QuotePaddy QuoteThe Sicilian QuoteTopi QuoteThe Sicilian I was excited and ready for the match then suddenly the entire England team took a knee and France looked around wondering what the hell is going on. I tuned out and didn't watch the game and went outside and raked leaves. That display was totally unnecessary. Karma got them anyways. Not the only match that had players kneel before

Sad news - i first saw wilko in 2015 (with the fabulous Norman watt-roy on bass) whilst he was under a terminal diagnosis for cancer. Miraculously after major surgery, he was on tour again a year or two later and i witnessed a magnificent gig at Manchester Ritz with Joanne Shaw Taylor supporting What a talent, RIP

QuoteTopi Urban legend has it that the rent for Circo Massimo is pretty cheap. Besides the Stones, Springsteen played there, back in 2016 I think it was. Roger Waters too? 8000 euros I remember reading. This was my first overseas stones gig and was absolutely fabulous. Print behind me on the wall for all my work teams meetings! Fingers crossed for more europe - three years after Rome the 20

Quotehockenheim95 QuoteVoodooLounge13 QuoteDGA35 Just saw she has the top 10 singles on Billboard, first time ever by any artist! An amazing feat really. And to chart all 20 songs is even more impressive when considering 7 of those songs are only available for download. I’ve said elsewhere that Midnights is indeed a weak album. Interestingly though the 3 songs that I do like on this album all

QuoteTopi When I saw Pearl Jam in Krakow this July they didn't sit down (as in the whole band sitting down) at any point. I guess you're talking about their September show at the Apollo, but that was a special theater show with lots of B-sides and rare stuff. They didn’t at Hyde park either - but Amsterdam onwards following eddie’s throat issues the remaining US dates started s

Quotestones2 QuoteTopi Yeah, I mean, B.B. King used to perform sitting in a chair in his last touring years. And he did it until he was, what, 88? 89? But Gerard is right, it's a lot different. sorry, can you imagine mick on a stool? the good and the beautiful of the stones, are the physicality, the sensuality of the movements, break into the stage as only he can do in the 90 meters of
