Quotepeoplewitheyes Hahaha, Keefriffhards - is that review your own work? We all hear that you don't like the new album, you've said it loud and clear many times. But what is hard to understand is why you keep appearing on this thread to repeat yourself. You don't like it? That's cool, move on. Start a thread about your favourite period, or an observation from an era th

Quotekeefriffhards Quotematxil QuoteMonkeyMan2000 Quotematxil Quotekeefgotsoul Are the bridges the weakest parts of this album? I like the whole album but it seems like the bridges in some songs take the steam out of them. Like Sweet Sounds. The song keeps building and gaining momentum, then the bridge happens and it seems like a wrong turn. In general, yes, they feel forced and unnecessary. Al

Listened through 4x this morning. I know it’s subjective but personally don’t get sone of the bitching and moaning here. It’s, as the reviews suggested, a very good album. Set against the context of age, loss of Charlie and no original material for 18 years it’s an excellent album. I think it hangs together really well with hints of country, dance, blues, gospel and stones patented rockers. Produ

QuoteRisingStone Quoteyorkshirestone The National, Leeds FD Arena, tomorrow night Got back from Glasgow. Cracking performance of 2.1/4 hrs. The SSE Hydro was only 60 % full, though. Wish they had played New Order T-shirt, which they did in Leeds. This is my fourth TN show after Edinburgh 2017 and London 2018 and 2022, the last two both headlining acts for the All Points East festival in Victor

QuoteScooby I’ve ordered a Rolling Stones/Paul Smith t-shirt which should be delivered this week. I’m hoping that it will be a good quality product, the last few items that I’ve ordered from the official store have been really poor quality and I sent them back. Think you’re getting a Paul Smith t shirt with stones printing rather than the other way round, his clothes are excellent quality

Quotestonerolling QuoteUrbanSteel Always the dissatisfaction with how a song was created, here The Rolling Stones, Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder and Andrew Watt deliver a masterful musical performance. This song has much more power than the track I've Got Dreams to Remember on Fully Finished Outtakes. For God's sake, be happy that you can hear Sweet Sounds Of Heaven and that after 60 years

QuoteNashvilleBlues QuoteMr. Jimi QuoteNashvilleBlues Someone in the band is ill. Got the message on my way to Indianapolis that tonight’s show is postponed. No other dates impacted as of now. Happened to me 2020 Baltimore. Damn tough luck man, kinda sucks. I'm flying out from Boston next week for the Ft Worth shows, crossing my fingers! I was only an hour into a 4 1/2 hour drive. No

Quote24FPS QuoteGasLightStreet Quote24FPS I'm trying to be objective here. I could be dead wrong. I think she's smart now to get every dime she can. I don't think she has real staying power. Her voice isn't special. I can't see her crossing genres like Ronstadt. I don't think she's attracting a large straight male audience. So far I haven't heard anything s

Sad news - took my mum (then aged 70) to see him at Bridgewater hall in Manchester about 12 years ago - really good voice even in his 80s, even sang a bit without amps to demonstrate acoustics of the venue - a fabulous artist

I’ve only seen him once this tour and regretting not doing a second gig - sounds like the sweet spot for a Bruce enthusiast this time round is 2-3. I’m hoping for another go round in europe next year - that and pearl jam dates

Quotecrholmstrom Quoteyorkshirestone QuoteDGA35 Quotecrholmstrom QuoteElmo Lewis IMHO, Working On The Highway is one of his worst songs (and, yes, there are some other bad ones, too). Born in the USA is far from my favorite Bruce record. The on that grates on my nerves is Bobby Jean. Conversely, I love Bobby Jean! His farewell to Miami Steve. Each to their own - born in the USA my favourit
