oh cool, I have seen WHO'S WHO play there twice, as well as THE HOO, CHANGES BOWIE a few times, the L.A DOORS a few times and THE DOORS ALIVE twice too. I know a few ROLLING STONES tribute bands have played there too.

I live in Maidstone in kent, south east England and about 10 years ago, someone told me that the stones played a very early gig there (around 1962), at what is now a GALA bingo hall, next door to a now closed down cinema. I have tried to look into this, but can't find any record of this show, does anyone know if they really played there, or was this bloke making it up?

Even though I live just south of London.I did not fancy going to London on a week night to see them, so I bought a gold cirlce ticket for Dublin on EBAY, it costme roughly £40 more, but that is better then not going at all I suppose! The seller has told me he will "post me the ticket as soon as he recieves it", so now I ma just waiting.........
