I don't know how to post pictures, but here's the Phelge/Spector reference on a (Russian) album sleeve. Notice how it refers to James Moore instead of his pseudonym Slim Harpo on King bee.

It is fair to say we do not know many facts about the financial arrangements, so we can not fully understand what is going on. I always understood that making money was not the first concern of the boys (with the exception of Bill maybe) in the early years. I got the impression that playing the blues was all that mattered. Maybe it is my naivity, but I think that the way the credits and royalt

Since 1969 they opened with only a selected group of songs: Jumpin'Jack Flash, Brown Sugar, Honky Tonk Women, Satisfaction, Let it rock, Under my thumb, Start me uo, Not fade away, Street fighting man, You got me rocking, It's only RnR. Most of these songs are famous fast rockers based on a strong riff. I think that is the best way to get the crowd rocking. Everybody knows the songs

Indeed, since we got CDs Going Home is right there in the middle of the UK album. In the good old days Going home finished the first side of the album. Nobody would ever think of playing Aftermath at school parties when I attended school. But we had a lot of fun with Still Live, that ended with the speeded Satisfaction to have our parties heated up!

I think the reason Pet Sounds has gained more universal acclaim than Aftermath is because the Stones were not at their Zenith in 1966 and the Beach Boys were. There was so much more to come from our band in later years, that Aftermath, with its 1966 production value, was turning a bit pale in comparison. Going home was the first time ever a rock band put a long and extended jam on an album I

> > 2 points: which are "the obvious ones"? a I guess the obvious highlights on the first albums are the hits, like Not fade away, Route 66, Time is on my side, It's all over now and Little red rooster. No one will deny these are great songs, performed in an outstanding way. I was just asking attention for a couple of real great tunes, the true examples of "the s

Ronnie made fun of the Richard-S on the cover of I've got my own album to do. His name was spelled Ron Woods and the S was scratched.

Of the first three albums 2 are in my top 10 of favorite Stones albums (hitmakers and Now!) Keith and Brian are absolutely amazing on those two albums. This is clearly the era when they were seen as a four armed creature when they were playing together. A few highlights, apart from the obvious ones, are Little by little, I'm a king bee, Confessin' the blues and Mona.

(decided to check out this forum, and found out you guys are having wonderful discussions over here. So I thought I'd might as well add something). Ronnie was credited for a number of Dirty Work songs (mainly because Mick was not around in the studio at the time). One got to applaud Ronnie for not being sour like other co-writers were. Ronnie was always very loyal to the twins. Even to
