Wow! Thankyou, that's too easy. It's been the Grail for me (1st show, user name & all). I hope I can get it. Sendspace & You-Send-Its & such usually work for me. Thanks again.

If you're just talkin' boots then I don't know, but I saw PHX '81 & a couple others from the tour & Boulder #1 was the best show ever. Now would someone please help me find a boot of it.

I made a big framed poster of ticket stubs. Used all my favourites. It hangs in my house & looks fantastic. Dates range from '77-'06. It's just like a diary. When I look at it I recall old friends & family & girlfreinds & road trips & parties & shows etc, etc...even the night I lost my viginity is there. It's one of my most prized possessions indeed.

On the day of the show about 2:30 PM or so a local station announced that the 1st 10 people at the station before 3:00 would compete for front row tickets. I didn't hear it but my best mate did & called me at (I'll never forget) 2:47 & said to get right there. It was pure coincedence (or fate) that I happened to be in the area & I arrived just in time. We all drew numbers &a

1st show was Boulder, CO Oct 3, 1981. 2nd show was the next day. 7 nineteen year olds drove all night in a hippie-van loaded with dope to get to Colorado for what was then a once-in-a lifetime experience. Two songs into that 1st show my friend Steve turns to me & says, "I know where we're gonna be tomorrow." I said, "That's for #@$%&* sure." 24 years later f

Right, I did it wrong regarding post placement. But like the front page of the vegas paper & someone here said, they aren't even in the same leauge.

I got to see the Who/Stones back-to-back in Vegas last November too. Not to start anything new like that Beacon thread but I bet lots of people here were there as well. As many people had Stones shirts on at the Who show as you see at a Stones show. Anyway, The Who were great that night (except Roger's voice, but I go to see Pete), & I thought, how will the Stones top that? Well, the ne

I got to see the Stones in '81 (my 1st Stones shows), and I understand the Vegas reference. I would say my fave since then was NS, maybe because it was different, being an arena tour and all. My least fave has always been '89. But, as I read previous posts, I do recall those shows & they really were better than I've been giving them credit for. As I think back, maybe, the only

Yeah, remember that rant at the R'n'R Hall-of-Fame from Mike Love when he got inducted? What was that all about?

I saw three ABB shows: San Diego '05, SLC '05, & Vegas '06 & I felt really good about the changes & various songs I got to see. Of course it's not like The Dead who would play three shows in a city & not repeat one song, But we know that coming in. Somewhere I read Mick once say that the Stones are like the James Bond franchise & you know what your going to

I saw two of the four LA shows in '89 (saw the last two & missed Clapton with them on Little Red Rooster by one night). Those shows opened w/ Living Colour, then G'n'R, then Stones. I wasn't really a G'n'R fan (still not), but I do remember being impresseed by their show. Like Aerosmith, kind of a Stones Lite thing: five piece, two guitars, lead singer, blah, bl

No, no, no, I am not suggesting an official release (I'm with you on the front man). I was just goofing off & the one I made played pretty well. Really, I thought some of you guys would come up with something better & then maybe post it for the rest of us that are interested. Where do I get the Yesterday's Papers instrumental?

One thing & then I gotta go. (I'll be back later to check this) How about a Stones instrumental album? I know some of you have all the boots & could come up with a really nice one. This is the best I could do for now: 1) Piano instrumental from DW 2)Extreme Western Grip-4 flicks 3)Respectable-SNL 4)Shattered-Some Trax 5) Stewed & Keefed- what about this song anyone? I swear it

Unlike the Beatles & Stones & everyone else before them, Zeppelin's currency was albums & not singles. I always thought that a Led Zep greatest hits was an oxymoron.

The Stones are my favorite and of course without them there would be no Aerosmith. You can't blame Aerosmith for wanting to be like the Stones, Who doesn't? That said, I think you could argue that Aerosmith is the greatest rock 'n' roll band in the world. To wit: The same line up their entire career. They've been more relavant for longer than any one else. We old guys lo

I am so new to this www thing. This is the only site that I have any interest in & I'm learning as I go. I've got some of the yousendit stuff & only a couple of the boots mentioned. But I do have hope that I'm on the right track to get some of this. Dirtyworks says any '81 SB'S are great. My very 1st Stones show was Boulder, CO. Oct. 3, 1981. Can anyone help me wi
