I've noticed that too. Which made it extra cool when Mick sang the line about the Kennedy's in Vegas on Nov. 22, 1997. The 34th anniversary of the JFK assassination.

"this setlist makes sense". I would think L.O. would disagree. No Keith?!

I was at the show too. It was Joe Ely, George T. And then after a very, very long delay, The Stones. I'm looking at my ticket stub right now and showtime was 11:00 AM. Showtime was Noon in Boulder with George T., Heart, then Stones and the show ended by dusk. In Phoenix we knew they were filming and figured then that the long delay was for lighting purposes for the film. Also, regarging Geo

I have a G&L Legacy USA Strat that a deceased friend gave me. What's the deal with this guitar? It's beautiful.

Hard to argue with Brown Sugar. And I always liked the ending to Star Star too.

I love Bob. I've seen enough shows (16 starting with two in '84 in Europe) to see some great and some not so great shows. And like Bob said himself, he's "just a song and dance man".

On July 23, 1966 they played a matinee show in Salt Lake City, UT and then an evening show in Phoenix, AZ.

I've seen photos of Mick in the scaffolding from that tour. And I saw him climb up in these ropes in Boulder in '81 and hang upside down. Road crew rushed out to spot him. Anybody here see that? It was great.

Mariska was in the car crash that killed Mansfield & has a visable scar on her head or neck (I can't remember exactly). Her dad's Mikki Hargatay, the body-builder Mansfield married. Yes, she's a beauty all right. Especially in Stones gear.

Yes, yes, yes! My experience was about like Burger's though. Missed the first three songs dammit. Where's your review? I was gonna wear my Stones blinky pin so you could find me but it was too crowded and like I said I was late. Got a kick out of Bob standing center stage singing and holding the mic. Good to see him with guitar in hand again too. I noticed he holds the guitar different

Guinness, and yes, I like it a lot. Coors (America's fine light beer), Pacifico & Negro Modelo (Food Dude approved), are my four favorites. I've had 'em all today so I got that going for me.

My fave Bowie song too. Has Mick ever performed in a suit & tie? He sure looked good in the pink one on the SNL skit in '78 & the green one at the ER release party in NYC.

Boulder, Co. Oct. 3, 1981. Something about your 1st Stones show. I think the 1st show is the best.

He's Mick Freakin' Jagger for cryin' out loud! Sure, we all love Keef, but in the real world nobody has ever said Keith Richards and the Rolling Stones. It's been different for Mick since the mid 60's. Like in German's book when he first saw them and gave Woody his 'zine outside the ER release party in NYC, Mick comes first in his own limo & the others come

Changed my life. Before the show in Salt Lake I liked the Beatles, Heart, Billy Joel & the likes. I was 17 & going to whatever rock show came to town. I fell in love with Keith at first sight, bought my first Stones album the next day and have been all Stones ever since. To this day it still surprises me that a 17 year old me was so touched by that music. 30 years?! Wow!

Always loved that SNL episode, just bought that one episode from iTunes for $1.99 with an itunes gift card I got for Christmas. Anyway, I read that at the time, maybe because of Mick's voice, some people thought that the Stones kinda blew it, and when SNL rebroadcast that episode later that season they replaced the Stones set with the rehearsals. So, there are some valid questions as to wha

I'm gonna say Oct. 4, 1981. That was the second of two Boulder, CO shows I saw and they were both great. Yes, those were my first Stones shows so that makes them extra special to me, but I also saw the Phoenix show near the end of that tour and I remember thinking how much more polished they seemed. Hampton is good but maybe Ernie Watts sax is a bit too much (I know some of us feel that way)

The Dylan show I saw this year was fantastic, the Police show was uninspired and boring, Aussie Pink Floyd was really good and better than I expected, Lindsey Buckingham something came up and I had to miss it.

I saw both Boulder, CO shows which were after Buffalo. In Boulder they had the stage curtain that they opened but they had no screens covering the speakers. I always thought it was because the stadium in Boulder was fairly small but now I wonder if they were ruined in Buffalo. They did have some cargo net/rope ladder type thing that Jagger climbed on and even hung upside down on (which was awesom

I was there. Before the show started a guy I was sitting by said something was gonna happen with girls because he knew some of them. I believe they were all girls from the University (except as noted). It was very exciting being there that day. We knew they were filming early on because a helicopter was flying around with a cameraman hanging out the door. We had to wait extra long between Thurogo

I guess you found out that the shot outside on the grass was really inside on shag carpet. Bob talks about that in Crossfire Hurricane.
