Is there some evolution of a Keith riff that creates Got To Choose and later used by Petty? I remember reading that Gene write Deuce off of the riff in Bitch, but I really did not see that connection.

Even though I knew this thread would have no merit, I figured I'd read it to see what people had to say. These type threads always come up when there is "down time". They happen on sports boards all the time in the offseason to keep interest. That being said- since everyone is stating what they think instead of actually knowing, I will say.. I think Ronnie and MT are closer tha

I thought 7.1.14 was the best but 7.3.14 just surpassed it.

I really liked MJ nudging MT to the front of the stage. At first, I thought the conspiracy theory was MJ didn't want MT on more songs because he takes over on them, but now I think it may be MT is content with his Midnight Rambler and acoustic on Satisfaction. While most of us would love for him to play on more than 2 tracks, it is what it is and after 18 months, we have to move on and accep

Thanks franzk and Dandelion Powderman! I thought why not see what letter of the alphabet would give a great setlist with only a few warhorses. The letter S did just that... The pre concert music could be Stoned on a loop. One can trade She's So Cold in for She Was Hot.

First, live albums and greatest hits should not be included. Second, this appears to now be a White Album vs Exile thread. So, here is my opinion. Exile is better than the White Album. Take the top 10 tracks or 50% of the tracks you like from both albums and compare. Listen just to those to eliminate filler. I just don't think the best of the White Album is > than the best of Exike. I

Who played lead guitar on the Dear Mr. Fantasy songs loaded up above? Mannerisms and style of playing looks like an older version of the new lead guitarist from the Black Crowes.

Thanks for the review. Not trying to be a cheapskate on a 1.99 but if it was something we will see later then I can wait- now if it were a rehearsal session during the tour with him playing Love in Vain, Gimme Shelter or YCAGWYW... Then I'd pay that plus more.

I have the app. Noticed to see the video I have to pay a 1.99 fee. Not a problem but not going to do it unless their is something new on there worth seeing. Who has already done it that can provide feedback and who has seen these recently advertised Taylor video? Thanks.

Thanks for posting. Two questions: around the middle there is a picture of Keith on guitar and Paul sitting across with a guy sitting on the floor. Was that the SFTD sessions cause it looks like the same setup as in the movie and who is the guy on the floor?

The smell of that chick put my spine out of place. I always thought it was, put a smile on my face. Well... you also messed up the first few words... It's "the mellow-thighed" chick just put my spine out of place.

Kleermaker, So, the one you posted has Taylor playing lead the whole time. I thought I had dreamed it after seeing the previous posts. So, on this tour did they trade who does the lead? This sure sounds like Taylor on the one you posted.

I guess one could say this was "weaving at it's best" with Taylor soloing on verses and Keef filling in the solos inbetween and with the chorus'

I don't think Keith solos on any of these. Carol 69-70/Little Queenie 69-70 and Roll Over Beethoven 1970 yes, but here it is Taylor.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, even on a Stones board. Why all the fuss? Maybe this should be a farewell tour. I think Mick can do what Page did with the Crowes and have a backing band that can actually play the songs the way they are supposed to be played (maybe even do it with the Crowes who can play the heck out of some Stones music). I am not interested in note for note copying (T

Listening to the audio from the show and there are only 2 bad parts: Mick singing in the wrong key at the beginning of 2000 Light Years and the piano is way too high in the mix on several songs.

Definitely would love to have.... I'm Yours and I'm Hers With Taylor on slide guitar. That would be awesome or have Johnny Winter guest with the band in honor of the creator of the group- Brian Jones.

It's like Kiss' shows. They see little kids there getting the experience of the band live with their dads and granddads and understand this is more a family affair. They have plenty of provocative lyrics on Brown Sugar but make it work because if a kid heard them, he'd be thinking about the brown sugar he used on his oatmeal with cinnamon. I'm glad they are not 70 years ol

I must say- I do want Taylor or more songs; however, we have to be happy with what we are getting. I have not seen a press conference or interview lately with the band. If they did, they would have to answer the question as to why he is not playing more. I think it is true- Jagger does not want the songs to sound like the 69-74 era because after the tour, they may not want to ask MT to stick arou

Always have enjoyed Mathijs' knowledge and posts, but man you missed the boat on this version if you are complaining (maybe using sarcasm?). I love that Taylor doesn't copy a scripted approach and allows for feeling in the song. If I want note for note scripting-I'll go see an Eagles show. Awesome
