I've read the quotes where Keith explains how certain songs were recorded using the first Philips cassette player/recorder in 1968, but has he actually said which model? I've bought a near mint one dated to late 1967, early 1968 which I think may be the very same model used by keith. I've always been curious about what he used since first reading about it. You need to tune to open E. These are just the very basic shapes, mostly barred with the 2nd and 3rd finger. I like Stone Alone mainly because it focus's on the beginnings and the 60's, plus it gives good non bullshit views and insights about Brian by someone who knew him.

I love it, but also hate the fact that there is a photo of Brian from 1969 labeled as 1965 and the photo's from Let It Bleed sessions are shown for thre Beggars Banquet era. Also, some of the session info seems supect.
