Hello IORR peeps... I haven't been around a lot lately due to my schedule, and getting this EP done... but here it is, mixed, mastered and sounding better than anything I've ever done. Ruby Headlights is a brisk listen, eight songs clocking in at just under half an hour. I welcome any and all feedback. If anyone likes it enough that they would want the CD when it's released (

Quotewhitem8 Because they are tracks done without any involvement with Roger Waters. They are from Division Bell... Hey I am not a total naysayer, but I did not think they should have continued as Floyd without Roger and I agreed that mostly the stuff done without him was pretty subpar. On another note, David Gilmore's album On an Island is fantastic! I'll take A Momentary Lapse of

Quotetreaclefingers OK, not getting too many takers on this thread so far, so obviously we need to consider broadening the scope just to be more inclusive. How about this, Rolling Stones vs. AC/DC by album? First up, Sticky Fingers vs. Back In Black. Sticky sold around 4 million world wide. Back in Black, over 50 million. Gulp. Let's go in track order, for simplicity. SIDE

It's one thing to use religious references, wearing a cross here, putting god, devil or angels in lyrics, etc. But when you think about it, they're all too smart to actually be religious. I'm not saying they're openly atheist (they could be personally, who knows).

Jagger and the Stones came into their own during the course of the 1960s and especially during the 1970s. Nowadays, they're raking it in (including the dough). Where's Elvis compared there? I have to agree, not even co

QuoteBlackHat How rock and roll (not). Really. Some people try too hard to be cool, Exactly my point. It reeked of desperation, but part of me sense the delusional alignment with The Stones that this particular group seemed to had. It's like association with brand loyalty, kind of pathetic. But when you take it all away even, it's tasteless. A woman who they've never met does som

My girlfriend is a bartender at a tavern that has live music every Friday night. So this greyed-out weekend warrior type of band (you know the kind, they spend more time yapping about the past than actually playing anything or progressing at rehearsals) decide to cover Jumping Jack Flash. They dedicated the song to Mick Jagger, who is "going through a very trying time right now." No

I have bipolar II (manic depression) and borderline personality disorder. I went through my own personal experience with depression and suicidal thoughts too. Thank you for sharing, reading your post; I could relate to so much, the way my life had ended up put me in a very dark place for 5-6 years. The two things I credit for helping me stay alive were 1. music, and 2. my growing understanding and accepting that there is no god, no afterlife, no heaven, no hell. We

How can it sound that good when it doesn't have this ONE BASIC REQUIREMENT? I am not sure what you mean. The 1/8" inch stereo jack is quite standard these days. The fact that this is designed to be a portable device prohibits a h
