I heard one track from this before and I was impressed. Because he focuses mainly on blues, it is easy to forget how adept he is at different styles.

Mick Taylor plays some smokin' leads on this. An incredible live version. Stop Breakin' Down MT reclaims this one from the Stones. Starts off a bit rough but when they find their groove and Mick's slide solo kicks in, it takes off like a jet plane. Ventilator Blues

To each their own. Despite what Charlie Watts says, MT's first solo album has some excellent music. Great melodies (Baby I Want You, SW5, Leather Jacket) & incredible playing Broken Hands, Giddy Up & Spanish Aminor. I rate it more highly than Jagger's solo stuff & on par with Talk Is Cheap (though a different genre).
