Love it, and I'd love nothing more than for them to open with it on the next tour!

Mostly the feeling like I don't love my wife, but also just the whole thought of this is all that my life has been. I never envisioned being stuck in a corporate america job, working in insurance of all things (God how I hate it). I imagined so much more for myself. So I've been trying to figure out how to change all of it. No she's not cheated, not a drug addict, or kid beat

My daughter's 7, the boys are 4 and 3. My wife doesn't know what I'm going thru currently. She just knows I've been really depressed lately. No she would never want to split. Like I said we were separated a few years back for very similar reasons and it was a long road back, only to find myself back at the same situation. I was a mess Friday night and she told me straig

Anybody get tix for the US shows? Had some 2 different sections for the Hartford but didn't like either of them and now it's sold out. So who's going?

Sorry, Sweet Neo Con, wasn't trying to sound the victim part at all. It's true I do tend to put others feelings ahead of mine, so much so that I tend to sacrifice my own dreams and desires, like living in upstate NY. I positively hate it here, but my wife refuses to move, so I gave up on that battle. Not all my friends that was an exaggeration, obviously, but it always seems like

It is a private matter, but I was looking for some advice. I'm an only child, and my parents certainly won't be in my corner because they weren't the last time I tried leaving, and I know they won't this time either. "The kids and all" they'd say, "Think about the kids." I really don't have a lot of close friends having been burned by most of t

QuoteT&A many stopped going to these reruns several tours ago, actually. but, if your definition of "still working" means fans still flock to the shows en masse, then I'm merely suggesting there are other definitions of success that perhaps warrant some investigation.... I couldn't agree with you more, T&A, but unfortunately, I don't think they agree with us.

No she's going over to her mother's tonight to see if she can find it. Her brother remembers it too - once I have the title, which probably won't be until Monday, I'll let ya know.

QuoteT&A QuoteVoodooLounge13 QuoteDizzyDutch it's getting a bit boring, i mean... since Voodoo (1994) we've had the same record producer and studio albums, the same tour staff, the same kind of greatest hits world tour... it has all more or less been the same since 1994 guys! that's 15 years of the same shit every once in a while. when are they waking up, and try something diff

A friend of mine insists that the music to this is from an old Polish folk song. Does anyone know anything about this? I keep telling her to not start trouble with copyright laws and what not. LOL

By contrast, I believe A Bigger Bang was their finest moment since Voodoo Lounge, granted there's only 1 album in between there, but when you consider, for me, VL is by far, not even close, their best album (sans Mean Disposition), and Exile was a distant second, to have ABB race up the chart of my favorite Stones albums and firmly, permanently, plant itself as the new #2 album, that says so

QuoteGazza Quotetrainarollin I'm listening to his new CD at work now. Overall, much better than "Magic" A few letdowns, but that's okay. I just feel sorry for the Sheep who follow his every stage move and audience jesture. What I mean is, if he takes one of the low points of the CD "Queen of the Supermarket" and puts it right before the encore break, I can picture t

Quoteskipstone It might be and probably is 'cheaper to keep her' but mentally it's a waste of life. It's only money. As my friend says about any hot woman he sees - somewhere someone is sick of her shit. LMFAO This might be the quote of the year!! Though the Dakota saying comes a close second. LOL And it feels like a waste of life, but what about all the anguish

I remember them playing the Big E in Massachussetts several years ago. When I was loading songs onto my Ipod I thought I'd only put a few songs on from their Gold and Platinum, but you know what? There wasn't a single song I could leave off.

It's all very depressing, I must admit. But on a positive note, the new one had a very low opinion of the Stones, and I made her a CD of songs, and she's completely rethought them now! My wife...she could care less if she ever goes to another Stones show - hell that right there is grounds for divorce I think!

God, the child support figures for a homemaker wife are staggering!! Doesn't leave much to try and make it anew......and I guess NY is a state (of course it is) where they feel the wives should get alimony for the rest of their lives. Geez all this alone is enough to make one just suck it up and keep one's head down.

QuoteT&A QuoteRocky Dijon The alimony part depends on how many years you've been together in most states. Its probably safe to assume you're losing the house, 75% of your income (alimony + child support) and your kids sooner or later will really resent you as the guy that messed up their lives. I'm not trying to be a prick, this is reality and something you need to consider no

QuoteT&A i've never known a single person who went astray and didn't regret it. there are definitely compelling reasons for divorce and i wouldn't presume to judge anyone, but leaving for another is the worst possible reason, imo..... Well T&A, I said it was a loooong story best summed up as that. It's not the driving reason. One of the very main reasons is that I

In light of Ronnie's eminent divorce, I'm wondering if there are any divorced dads here, and what the price is for child support and alimony. Realizing that all terms vary by state and what not so it'd be hard pressed to find someone here divorced from NY. I'm just trying to figure out a rough ballpark without going to an attorney just yet. I mean for simplicity's sake
