For those that are big Stripes fans, I've always wanted to get into them but never wanted to spend the money. Now I see that their 2nd album De Stijl is only $7 and I think I'm going to pick it up. How is this for a starting point? Will I be disappointed or too overly awed as to be disappointed with everything else? I welcome all thoughts on the White Stripes/Raconteurs/Dead Weather

unfortunately, the closest he's coming to me is Phillie, and as it's the week of my anniversary, and the Mrs. is not a fan of his enough to go see him, not sure I'd gain approval to drive down to see a concert without her that week!
