I think Keith is toying with us to see who is the most gullible. Wasn't it Keith who said something along the lines of "I don't care what they say about me as long as they are talking about me"? The gullible denizens of the media will lap this up - UK Daily Mail will be so far up its own self righteous ar*e it's untrue. Do any of us truly believe a word of this?

Hi all Read something over the weekend that threw me a little. The Guinness Book of Hit Singles claims that Lenny Peters (the blind one) of Peters & Lee fame is none other than our beloved Charlie's uncle. This is a new one on me. Can anyone confirm/disprove this? Thanks guys!

Personally I've always loved the "looseness" of the song. It perfectly sums up Keith's style around this era before he slipped into his heroin odyssey that hindered his performance on GHS/IORR etc. He returned with a vengance on Some Girls. God bless him!

Totally overrated whining lil turd. I love soccer/football and as a passionate Englishman I'm glad he's no longer in our national team. Can we get back to talking about the Stones now?

I like the book. It sits comfortably alongside "According To" as the best examples of the Stones in print.

Exile cover adds to the atmosphere of the whole album experience GHS Keith looks positively charred SG loved the original "cut out" cover Still Life gets an honourable mention. The folded out version really invokes the stage show of the 81/82 era. Single picture cover JJF with Brian holding a small garden fork and Keith in a flying hat and goggles. Eccentricity to a new leve

After Keith was released from the slammer in 1967 having been incarcerated for a night for allowing people to smoke drugs at Redlands he asked his brief who owns the prisons. His brief told Keith that ultimately they would be owned by the Queen. Keith then asked if she was gonna get busted as he'd smoked more quality sh*t on the inside than on the outside! Bless his heart!

personally I've always been a Rod/Faces fan. I would love to have seen the Faces live. Rod seems to have lost the gravelly part of his voice since his cancer problem a few years back which is a shame. As for the album I would rather listen to the original recordings that Rod's reworking of them. This is his 4th release in this genre all of them poor. Sorry Rod!

Hi all I've seen several posts about potential DVD releases following the endless ABB tour. Personally as much as I enjoyed the Glasgow & Sheffield shows that I saw I don't really want to see another live DVD. 4 Flicks has cornered the market here as far as I'm concerned. What I would really like to see is a definitive Video release. We had rewind in the UK in the mid-80&

Decca UK mid-70's compilation Rolled Gold. I guess it was released in 1975 so I'd have been about 9. At that time I couldn't figure out why there were 6 Stones on the cover (Taylor & Jones were shown). It was only when I began to voraciously read any Stones books or magazine article that I realised what had gone on and I was hooked! First "new" album was Love Yo

I reckon that you can split Brian's contributions to the Stones into 2 distinct areas; his guitar work and when, as I understand it, he became bored with the guitar and began to experiment. Guitar wise Brian was at his peak between 63 & 65. The interraction that he and Keith built during their Edith Grove days is evident in cuts such as Down the Road Apiece and The Last Time. I love t
