The Music world just lost another fantastic musician and person. Drummer for NRBQ. The driving backbeat behind the "Q". He will be sorely missed. RIP Tom Ardolino Stones connection> As many folks here probably know, Joey Spampinato, bass player for NRBQ, was a strong candidate to replace Bill Wyman. Eventually Darryl landed the spot. Joey can be seen as the bass player, alo

Jim Morrison lived there until he was reportedly evicted by management for hanging out a window by his fingertips, dangling over the pavement. Led Zeppelin rented as many as six floors of the hotel in the mid-to-late 1970s for the band members and entourage. Drummer John Bonham was reported to have driven a motorcycle along the hallways (some say it was tour manager Richard

One drop, had to refresh. 10 seconds lost. couple other times very mnor buffering blip. Outside of that...FANTASTIC. I'm ecstatic over the quality of music played. Have not seen this line up in a while and pretty much blew me away last night. Just like the way Big Bad Blues has progressed into a real nice tune, TRI will advance as well. Being such a game changing initiative taken by Weir, I have no problem with a 20 spot for tonights live webcast. Actually looking at it as the first one free and this one for 20, I just consider 10 bucks each ;-) In fact, I'm blowing off going to see Phish at a local venue tonight to catch this. A BOATLOAD of money to build and maintain this place. I think the Stones need to take a ha

Stones should do this! State of the art studio for webcasts. Sure, plenty will agree not a pure "live" experience like going to a live venue...but heck, they are only getting older. Could you imagine some of the classic Stones tunes being played via this medium. I mean damn with a worldwide audience that they have, they could easily charge single dollars for a live webcast, and still

Enjoy this classic clip. Paul Simon/John Lennon/Andy Williams 1975 Grammys> 1975 Grammys Note the artists/songs nominated for that year....amazing songs. Check out Garfunkel accepting on behalf...classic stuff. All of those songs were worthy of the nomination. Nowadays, hardly any are worthy of a grammy.
