Another shot from one of the MSG concerts. Photo By Phil Feehaw. And a shot from Palm Beach taken very close to the same time (& from a similar position) as Ethan Russell's well known Palm Beach colour photo. I think the photo was taken by Ken Davidoff......Hee Hee. Cheers, ER

Another 1969 rare photo care of my mate downunder. A band is on stage but who? Can't make any band member out as the shot is taken too far away. Is it the Stones or one of the support acts? Cheers, Eleanor

QuoteGazza Those are the only other five songs played at the four shows used on the original version of Ya Yas, so yeah, its quite likely that this is the deluxe version's bonus songs. i agree, let's hope they put the songs on the new Ya Ya's in correct running order to simulate a complete concert. btw - weird choice of songs for guitar hero!

QuoteRockman Mick Jagger 1969 ......................................................................... Ethan Russell Does anybody know or have any idea at what American 1969 shows Mick wore the big white shirt AKA the puffy shirt ;-) ) He also wore it at one of the Saville Theatre London shows in December 1969. And thanks Rockman for the (unseen to me) picture of Mick wearing the abov

Hi all, My mate in Australia sent me this review of the Boston 2nd show performed on the 29th November 1969. He doesn't know where it originally came from as it was send to him as a typed letter years ago. It was written by a person with the endearing moniker of "Old Mole" which in some English speaking countries can be used as a derogatory term for a "loose" female

QuoteRockman and of course one's from "Let It Bleed" that non owners haven't seen. Eleanor .... The main problem is the massive size & weight of "Let It Bleed" .... Most of the shots even on single pages which are approx A3 size are too big for scanner and secondly a lot of the shots are double page spreads.... fair enough... that earlier pic of Jagger

This was also forwarded on to me by my mate in Australia. The Time Magazine article dated the 28th of November 1969 which reviews the Chicago 14th of November concert. He scanned it in grey because the paper was so yellowed. At the end of the article are a few paragraphs related to a review of a about to be released John & Yoko LP. No titled mentioned but I presume it's might

yeah I believe it is Chip Monck in the 1st pic next to Stu. i agree - in pic 3 Keith is tuning his guitar, and the photographers are now taking pics of the crowd...so it's quite possibly just as Jagger has asked for the lights to come on in between songs !

For the viewing pleasure of 1969 Tour enthusiasts ;-) Four photographs from Olympia Stadium, Detroit 24th November 1969. QuoteAmused Rockman posted a lot of those scans in other threads, you just need to find 'em. Dear Amused, one of the reasons I started this thread was so one could find 1969 photographs all in the one place. Then one wouldn't have to trawl though endless posts as your comment "you just need to find 'em." suggests. You may prefer to be all over IOR N Roll like a m

In the last few days I've been looking back at older threads on It's Only Rock 'N Roll & came across two threads regarding the posting of photos from the 1970 European Tour & the 1975 TOTA tours. It got me thinking, seeing that the 1969 tour gets numerous mentions here, plus this tour seems to be many of the folks who inhabit IOR & R favourite Stones tour (it's
