Nice release ! The best live album they've released in many years -- I paid $ 11.00 for the 2 disc set and the money spent was well worth it--

When you look at artists who have had the longevity like the Stones have had, you have to put it all in perspective-- those early years, they were young, everything was new, they were pushing the envelope, breaking new ground, things were exciting. The "Golden years" they hit their peak with albums like Let it Bleed through Exile they levelled off for a few years after that while sti

About 25 years ago Pete Townsend was going to do something similar with a solo album he was planning with Nick Lowe as producer--Lowe said 'I think the kids will go mad for it"--unfortunately, Townsend and Lowe clashed in the studio and it never got off the ground-- But it just shows that he's had the idea for doing this a long time...

Late Summer 1969-- I was a 13 year old Beatles / Stones fanatic (still am) and I was in a section of Worcester Massachusetts that a 13 should not be in, and wandered into a record shop called "Soul Record City" which catered to R&b..on the counter were a stack of albums, white covers, no wrting anywhere on the covers or album inside..just a handwritten sign on top of the stack that

Hey guys...dont blame Keith....its the booze !! I've said it for years now--- Since Keith became a really heavy drinker he's become more and more cantankerous and obnoxious--I used to love it when a magazine came out with a Keith interview and now I kinda cringe because I know its going to be more of the same.....I mean, how many 64 year old guys are still wearing chains and carrying k

Love Keith, and always have and always will, but he sure does seem to get more and more mean spirited as he goes along--where a lot of these comments seemed funny long ago, now they just come across as nasty. Maybe he should start doing interviews when he's not drunk ?

One of the all-time greats-- Unforgettable guitar leads, never a show-off, tasteful, understated, and from everything I've read, a truly gentle and kind soul. My favorite Harrison songs: Behind That Locked Door, Any Road, I'd Have You Anytime, Far East Man His work with Ravi Shankar was amazing, HIs collaborations with the Travelling Willburys was outstanding. His session wo

I found it amazing that both Harrison and Clapton treated Patti Boyd so shabbily... Clapton comes across as a real @#$%&-- totally self-centered. Its hard to feel sorry for a guy who treats women like that. Drunk or no drunk. At least she still has her good looks.....

I'm also a radio DJ and I (fortunatley) do a show on a station with no playlists, so I can playwhatever I want-- I have been able to get the station on a number of occasions to let me dedicate my entire three hour show to the Stones, and have played all kinds of stuff--unreleased stuff, solo stuff, and always play the stuff you never hear on radio--
