i love the emphasis he expresses for live performance. Getting something happening on stage, with the audience, with the band, not playing strict note for note versions of album versions of songs. Stones music is basically folk music with a funky rhythm section and some loud amps. I love it.

when Mick Jagger comments on the US government position on climate change, I take notice because he is very astute about history, the truth is though, his opinion is like everyone else’s, and nothing will change. Charlie got the thumbs up, and so glad that he did after being as huge a part of The Rolling Stones as Brian, Mick ,Keith ,Ronnie,Bill and Mick Taylor have been . The Stones without Charlie after all this
