About the cover on the first UK pressings of Rolling Stones LK4605. There are a few versions existing that were made during the first months of production in 1964. I'd like to get your opinion on first second third fourth version. Muddy Waters was at Pori Jazz in Finland in the early 80's. Same weekend there was a Drag Race as well and all my friends was on their way to Räyskälä for the race. .... John Lee Hooker was at Puistoblues festival in South Finland in the early 90's and I did not know about it, only found out years later.... SRW in Pori Jazz around 1984, yet another Drag Race...

I have 19 copies of the first vinyl LP LK4605 pressed in UK, so I guess I qualify as a person that likes the early stuff Probably the best ever first album by any band... Well, The Doors was a pretty good one as well.

There is no indication of 33 or 45 rpm on the Gloom And Doom vinyl so when I plaid it for the first time I just put it on 33 rpm. Woow. Try it, a fantastic slow blues. The singing is a bit off but not too much

I got my copy signed when I bought it at the Stones convention at Brixton Academy in June of 1999. One of the best Stones books ever. I have read it two times and I think that a third time is due now. Thank You James for a fantastic inside view from the early days
