Great news. I love Keith's solo work. I especially like his vocals on Crosseyed Heart, listening to it last night.

Controversial opinions follow. Yes and no. Due to his deteriorating mental state, Brian was a big liability long before they dismissed him. Allen Klein opened their eyes to the possibility of making a lot more money than previously considered, but they ended up losing the rights to their entire catalogue prior to 1970 to him. I will forever remain a big Mick Taylor fan and think he could have

Following the Daily Mail article about the auction, nearly all the comments are negative, condemning Bill for his r'ship with 13 year old Mandy Smith.

I really like Philip Norman's work; he goes back a long way. But how long can you pick over the bones of this long-dead musician. Everything has already been said, and then some...

I too am presently holed up in the depths of the French countryside, in the southwest. I assure you it's a great place to ride this crisis out. The birds are singing, flowers are blooming, people peacefully working in their gardens.

I am in Gironde, about 35 minutes north of Bordeaux. It is the deep French countryside. The local hospital in Libourne has not had any cases yet.

I am listening to Rock the Lockdown, a Facebook group livestreaming numerous bands from southern Spain. This will be continuing through Sunday. So far - deeply unimpressed.

Apart from the composer singing about romantic addiction, I don't see much similarity between "All About You" and "Suspicious." "All About You" Well if you call this a life Why must I spend it with you? If the show must go on Let it go on without you So sick and tired hanging around with jerks like you Who'll tell me those lies And let me think

I thought Keith's voice was beautiful on Suspicious - strong, tender...even sexy. And the lyrics just knocked me out - reflecting love but also extreme anger, addiction to pain. These combined with the melody - stunning.

This is such a beautiful, haunting song. Fantastic melody. It really takes my breath away. I don't think I've ever heard a song express anger/bitterness/longing like this and it's quite unexpected from Keith. Does anyone (Chatoyancy?) know the back story of the lyrics?

Really, if you want to take the moral high ground over Stones or Stones-adjacent transgressions, Anita injecting the Nellcote cook's teen-aged daughter with heroin or playing fatal Russian roulette with a 17 year old boy is worse by far. Mandy Smith was apparently badly affected by her intimate r'ship with Bill which began when she was 13.

As great as it may be, it does seem very dated now in terms of cinematic style. Although The Last Poets' "Wake Up, Niggers" is the first example of rap of which I am aware.

Quotegeorgie48 Quotejlowe To summarise: Brian died in debt. A substantial amount. Took over 10 years to pay off (through continued earnings /settlements ) Professional fees would eat into that of course. Off course he was. The other members of the band were similarly in big trouble financially. Prince Rupert knew what he was talking about. His "merciless act" of sending them to Fr

I just streamed this and am glad I didn't waste any money seeing it in a theatre. I'd be very surprised if Daniel Craig doesn't die of shame in the future when he looks back on his role. So much political correctness, so many plot holes and Daniel Craig's relentless take on Foghorn Leghorn.

And no, Anita didn't murder Scott Cantrell, but she had a certain responsibility: he was only 17, there were guns around, drugs were likely involved, and she didn't stop him from playing Russian roulette which resulted in his untimely death.
