As much as I like Midnight Rambler I don't think it should be played on every show. It's usually 13 minutes long so if they removed it from the setlist they could add 2 or even 3 different songs without extending the show duration. What if instead Midnight Rambler they played a mini set with three songs ONLY from 63-65 era? Maybe it's not a bad idea for the next tour?

Quoterbk LOL. The only time I ever saw a Stones show shortened for weather was Chicago '06 when the temperature was in the range of 7 degrees Celsius and Mick complained he "couldn't feel his feet." Opening night in DC in '94 was likewise brutally hot with a healthy dose of humidity added to the mix. They played 27 songs however. They also shortened some shows in 07

In 2007 during hot nights they reduced the setlists to 18 songs. I hope it won't be the case today.

Quoteliddas I remain convinced that the only truly unreplaceable song is Satisfaction as the last encore. And yet it could be challenged with most 70s setlists.

QuoteMore Hot Rocks How would you know if you weren't there? Ahhhh....a crappy video from someone's smart phone. There are several criteria to judge on: setlist, performace, general vibe etc. Setlist - you don't really need to listen to the show to know Performance - there are several bootlegs already, not necessarily crappy General vibe - the most subjective thing. Quotephilrock90 I'd think age is a big factor being that it means remembering more tunes I know they reherse alot of songs do we know how many was rehearsed for this tour? I don't know how many songs they rehearsed for this tour but here are some songs they rehearsed in 2021. Any of them would be a nice addition to the setlist. I think that The Stones are a little bit too preoccupied with their idea of a warhorse. For example: they've dropped (for obvious reasons) Brown Sugar since 2021 and I don't think that fans are very dissappointed. Since 2019 they quite rarely play IORR which was a staple for many years and they don't always play Street Fighting Man and I don't think many people mind it. On the

I know Waiting on a Friend is very rarely performed, but I'd have imagined it's had more than three outings. You could be right, of course. I witnessed one of those rare Let it Blee

Although I don't mind SFM as an opener I think it was used too often since 2018. Why not try something different? SFTD was great in 2017 and LSTNT also worked well in LA. Maybe they should try open with one of these: The Last Time Live With Me Rocks Off All Down The Line Happy (with BOTH Mick and Keith singing) If You Can't Rock Me

Quotetreaclefingers QuoteJustin Out of Time is this tour's 19th Nervous Breakdown But this tour already has a 19th Nervous Breakdown. If Under My Thumb appears in the setlist it will become Let's Spend The Night Together. It's simple
