Quote71Tele OK, so we get Scarlet, Criss Cross and Through The Lonely Nights on a GHS bonus, along with another disc of Live Europe 1973. Sounds like a keeper. Wow, that was not far off ten years back!

Good job! Glad you stayed on it. I've been randomly checking on a few cities, but no results. Interesting that Tampa has had available LDs in recent weeks.

Yeah, I get that. And I also admit I'm naively still somehow believing this tour will go on, but at the same time, I look at the COVID-19 numbers in the USA which are just getting worse. It's bad. I do realize the US tour might get scrapped altogether and the Stones may take their business somewhere else (if even that). But yeah, as far as Lucky Dips go, normally they are sold on th

Tim is right. It's a very inexpensive hedge. I mean, what is there to lose if you bought a pair of cheap tickets now? If the tour gets completely cancelled, refunds are automatic. No loss.

And no, the app or the Stones website (or indeed Ticketmaster itself) will not advertise these "newly returned" Lucky Dips. The only way you are ever going to see them is to try the direct links. (In fact, I think the app itself was pretty useless in buying tickets this year, didn't it just basically open up / direct you to the Ticketmaster links without any built-in software to

chrism13, I now see you posted about Tampa Dips back in April. As I said, Tampa has been available twice during the past two weeks or so now, so I suggest you check back on that same link every morning. (I checked my previous posts and before this morning, the previous time Tampa dips were available was June 18, so that's some two weeks ago.)

Actually, there's nothing strange about it, Lucky Dips were always a different, dedicated link on Ticketmaster. See the difference when you look at the addresses of the regular Tampa tickets and that Lucky Dip link? It's that little string at the end: Quote?did=lucky That's what you need to add at the end of each show URL to get the Lucky Dip link. However, if no LDs

There weren't that many pairs available. I helped someone get a pair at around 10:50 AM EST. Ticketmaster usually uploads the tickets into the system very early in the morning, and I heard somebody had bought a pair of these Tampa dips as early as 5 AM EST. Looks like my post here was made at 9:34. Quantities with refunded dips are always limited. A week ago, several Tampa pairs alon

I thought having read the "revamped form" is some kind of scaled-down version of the previous format, but they're saying it's "new and improved " (of course, that's marketing language). Does anybody actually know if "Unzipped" contains less or more than "Exhibitionism" did, in terms of amount of material?

Quotepftw04 In 2007 it was looking like Keith Richards would fall on stage. Ultimately it did not happen. Actually, Keith did fall on stage in 2007 In fact, twice at the same show, in Helsinki. I was there. I remember Chuck Leavell in his blog chalking that up to too much caviar in Russia, or something to that effect... (My review of that show can be found here: ) But let's just sa

If Ticketmaster says it's a dummy date, it probably is a dummy date. Ticketmaster Finland has - probably for technical reasons - placed "dummy dates" for at least two concerts that were postponed due to COVID-19: Santana and KISS. Both events have the same "dummy date" of December 31, 2020...at the same arena. So that March 2022 date likely doesn't mean anything.

I remember having seen those refunded San Diego pits too. Edit: yes, it was in late April. I appear to have posted about it on Facebook. Keith's side pits were availsble for 499 USD + fees on April 23rd.

Getting a refund for a "worse" seat and buying a better one (sometimes for even less $$$!) is always a good idea. Many shows have face value pits available, for example. But if you buy a new/better ticket now that the tour is postponed - a ticket with no date - will the "Request A Refund" button be available for these new purchases? Does anyone know? I'm pretty sur

Quotestickyfingers101 QuoteTopi Quotegoingmad Aerosmith has rescheduled the tour in 2021. Why not the stones? Deep Purple and The Who also rescheduled to 2021, and they are in the same age group. ....and in a year's time, they will all "reschedule" again (or cancel) if things are like they are now. there is absolutely nothing guaranteed at this point and everybody knows that

This is interesting. The tracking shows my book somehow went back to the USA, after having already landed (via surface mail) to Rotterdam on May 25 and was "in transit to destination post" Now the Aftership tracking site says the package "arrived at regional facility" in Miami on June 14 and was processed through the same facility. Gotta contact the seller again and ask

The only article I can find that mentions Charlie and the word "hangover" is from the Guardian, two years ago: QuoteThe hard-living days are long over, commented Watts, who said he had not drunk alcohol or smoked for some time. “We are getting to that elderly period, so it’s a good thing not to. When you’re 40 and you’ve got a hangover you get up and have another drink and you’re
