Saw this at the Garden and it SMOKED!! They sounded tight and Dave's voice was better than I was anticipating. Eddie is clearly enjoying himself and his playing was white hot. It appears most of these shows are complete sellouts and they have added another leg starting in January '08. The prices on eBay are pretty high so clearly demand is there. All the naysayers...........

Belushi was one of those performers that would have you laughing before he even opened his mouth. Remember the SNL skit where he was playing Beethoven when Ludwig was supposedly more or less catatonic and just sitting there at the piano and then when everyone left the room he ducked down behind the piano and when he reemerged, he had on dark sun glasses and started rocking out on a Ray Charles

Where are all these critics? Are you referring to people on this board? Ever pick up a guitar magazine article on him? How many of these "critics" actually have a clue as to play a guitar? Just wondering..........

I do not play piano but it sure sounds like what the guitar equivalent of playing a series of descending chromatic sixths---a classic blues run.

Yes, but as Erik pointed out....he is no longer pushing "product". I actually remember that interview because I was freakin stunned when he said it (and '81 was my first Stones Tour and I loved every second of the 3 shows I saw). If I remeber correctly (and I think I do) that was the same 1/2 hr MTV Special that ends with Mick looking at the camera and saying "See you next

If you do not think Eddie looks 100% better than he did a few months ago, you are either blind or simply allowing your dislike of him affect your better judgment. I agree that Michael Anthony was a HUGE componet to the bands sound--one of the things that separated them from the drek that follwed in their wake was MA's AWESOME harmonies--and the fact that they sounded exactly the same live

Very ironic timing with this thread. I just got back my copy of this after 2 yrs and watched about 1/2 of it. Not the biggest fan of '75 (though WAY better than '76) but I really enjoyed watching this. Not as good as the Sunday show but pretty cool and one whole lot better than nothing.
