I'm confident StL complete will be released, as well as Atlantic City 89 and others. The Stones have been very generous in getting these out. But they obviously aren't going to release everything at once. My pocket book thanks them plus its exciting looking forward to the next release

I just want Mick to be healthy. He has given more pleasure and comfort than you can imagine. Weather or not he plays music again is irrelevant to me. He has done enough and owes me nothing. Get well Mick and enjoy your life and family!!

Quoterbk Presumably the Chicago "bonus" DVD which only runs 19 minutes is the MTV feed from opening night. 19 minutes of BONUS? Couldn't they have added the Double Door show too??

This is money better spent than bribing people to get your spoiled brats into college. And as a bonus, no FBI issues

Quotejumpontopofmebaby QuoteDrPete I was at the KC show and they should release the entire concert ( including a great rendition Kansas City)instead of choosing the only weak point of the concert Going to Kansas City and SFM were both the Stones on their A game that night SFM gave me the shivers. Easily the best version since the days of Mr Taylor

I have to think ABKCO is on board with releasing extensive unheard music since it's only profit for them. The Stones just must feel it's not worth it based on their standards or they just don't have the interest in working on it. The Beatles have the benefit of trusting Giles Martin with all the tapes and then just give a thumbs up or down upon completion

Did Brian write and play all the music? It sounds great and would seem to have some potential had it been fleshed out

QuoteElmo Lewis Good point about U2. Yes, I used to love U2, now cant stomach anything they have made in 30 years. Same with REM. But the RAMONES are now much more regarded than in the 70s. They've reached classic rock status

Much of Jimmy's most grievous editing is snipping out other songs from the WLL Live medley to save on royalty payments. But overall the Stones have done a much better job releasing their back catalog than the very frustrated Zeppelin fans

QuoteGasLightStreet It amazes me that the Stones have not done something equivalent to SGT PEPPERS or THE BEATLES remix plus extras releases with various outtakes, demos, new mixes, edit versions, B-sides, remixes, different mixes... for equally important LPs (BEGGARS, BLEED, FINGERS, SG and TY) and maybe some of the lesser popular but still important LPs in the catalog (GHS, BAB, ER) where they

Quotekeefriff99 Well, having finally finished watching the entire show, I have to say I enjoyed it very much overall. Once my ears adjusted to the odd mix, I had a great time watching and listening to it. My original assessment of the mix as an "abomination" was harsh. It's not quite that...still not good though. Some songs fare better than others. It was decent for most so

I've got 6 speakers around my room and while the vocals are a little loud, to me the overall sound is much better than the bootleg or the original video. I'm thrilled that its been properly released and , being the greedy bastard I am, can't wait for the next release

Quotekeefriff99 Quotefrankotero Hmm, I'm wondering what all the fuss is about. To my ears and eyes this is an improvement over existing bootleg audio and video. Plus it's cheaper than those to my memory. Someone mentioned maybe in another thread about how The Stones never seemed to care for their legacy by using quality methods. Maybe this is the answer? Anyhow I'm pleased with the

QuoteTheGreek QuoteStoneage SNL 1978, coolest ever? Jagger's voice was shot. Coke or cold? Or both? The performance is close to farcical. The sketches even more so. As a bonus on an official release . A great bonus. Wish the Stones would have put the Love is Strong TV performance as a bonus here
