I love football and have watched every Super Bowl since 72, but having the Stones vastly will decrease the piss breaks during halftime!! The NFL did release a dvd last year of the game w/ the complete Paul performance and I can only imagine that they'll do the same this year!!. can't wait!!

Yes, I realize this may be a stupid topic but how many people love them and appreciate their music equally (In my case this also goes for The Who and LedZep)? This reason I began listoning to the Stones as a little kid was because in reading old interviews with Lennon/McCartney/Starkey/Harrison they always talked up the Stones.

Yes, the 400$ (plus 100$ to the fanclub) is a kick in the ass, but after seeing them 6 times since 81, and needing binoculers each time, having Mick and Keith standing w/in 15 feet of me a couple of times made it worth it! It's not like they come every year or 2 and you never know when the last tour will be.

The fact is, almost NO band of any significance changes up their set list as much as the Stones do. Page/Plant did a great job but Led Zep sure as hell didn't (unless you count the medleys inside WLL).

Nothing personal, I just value seeing them so much that if they were on stage making farting noises w/ their armpits all night I'd probably think it was great (although the 500$ for the ticket would be a bit less palatable!!lol).
