How they didn't decide to make this concert the entire LYL album is crazy. This is the best live release they have ever had. I LOVED Mick laughing in the middle of Fool to Cry! So hilarious

Queen actually played Radio Ga Ga , their recent single in addition to their classics. So wish the Stones had properly played. But seeing Led Zeppelin, as uneven it was, still brought tears of joy to me. I knew thought I would ever see them together and loved every moment of it

QuoteStoneage That neon sign palm tree would have been the perfect sleeve design. It would have been but the Stones have put zero effort in the cover sleeve since Dirty Work with which I LOVE the cover.

Like all of us, I pray an extended El Macombo will be released and I will be alive to enjoy it. As certainly both shows were recorded, I pray the tapes still exist

QuoteNilsHolgersson I loved watching the Get Back series, the best music doc I've seen for some time, the quality is amazing on a big tv screen. They way Macca comes up with songs like Get Back out of nothing is stunning. To compose Get Back, Long and Winding Road and Let it Be in a couple days is absolutely genius

QuoteBig Al My, goodness: isn’t Fast Talking, Slow Walking utterly sublime? Mick’s ‘new’ vocals are fantastic. What a phenomenon he truly is. Seriously: I’m, generally, unimpressed with most of these Frankenstein-like creations that our Mick is obsessed with, but this is something very special, I think. What a fantastic song! Always one of my favorite out takes. Listening now to the new version.

The show was yet another bit of evidence proving that the Stones are the Greatest RNR in the world and All Time. They were as amazing and beautiful as ever. My god was Rambler an intense performance nearly matching the early 70s versions. Really thought Mick was about to slam is belt again. Unbelievable, amazing, beautiful and a joyous tribute to Charlie. I thought Keith had to old back a tea

QuoteBastion Quotepeoplewitheyes Am I the only one to whom this seems rather seedy and depressing? You’re not the only one, no. Playingthese shows for billionaires is not appealing. Be The Cockroaches again and sneak into small clubs where us regular fans might be

PeteTtownshend`s tribute to charlie watts “I only played with Charlie once, when he drummed for Ronnie Lane and me on our Rough Mix album. We did two faultless live takes (no overdubs at all) of my song ‘My Baby Gives It Away’. His technique was obvious immediately, the hi-hat always slightly late, and the snare drumstick held in the flat of the left hand, underpowered to some extent, lazy-loo
