QuoteFeelslikeaGhost I'm hoping for a stage similar to what Taylor Swift is using, just a giant screen that everyone in the stadium can see Yeah, that would be great

I don't think it's a 100% Jagger song, neither does he: "Keith and Andy Watt sent it to me when I was in Italy and I went: Like the groove, what on earth am I meant to do with it? Then we were in LA and the top line melody came really quickly" - Mick Jagger, c. August 2023 QuoteMadMax The worst song they've released the last 30 years. The only thing that redeems i

QuoteJumpingKentFlash Quotenoughties QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotenoughties This is the Achilles heel of the album. I heard it from day one. What do you mean? It`s quite a common expression. Achilles heel = weak point. You think so? I’m surprised. To me it’s one of the best on there. The best on this album are these: SSOH WWW TMS RSB GC The best for me with SSOH

QuoteMKjan HD is a great Rolling Stones album with great Jagger vocals. The entire album is great. Pity the critics here lost in their fantasy of being HD’s producer. Not gonna happen, thank god. I agree, great record, great producer.Mick was the driving force behind the album, but the album is so good because it is the result of a collaboration between Jagger and Richards, as they themselves

Keith is still playing solos: Angry, Tell me straight, and Rolling stone blues (there is a part of the song that could be a solo). In dreamy skies Ronnie and Keith both share great licks through the whole song.

QuoteIdorh Quotesnoopy2 Every time I play the album my favorite track changes.. I take this as a good sign Same with me, I never had that before with my 60 years of being a Stones fan. Quoteironbelly Quotenoughties I`ve always liked the 5 minutes edit version best, but I don`t know if that is just the long version minus the extended jam at the end. It is the same take but different mix minus jam at the end and a few minor edits. The main difference is that in the edit version the third verse is sang by Lady Gaga: I smell the sweet scents, the sweet scents of heaven (sweet -

QuoteDoxa I guess there is not much better things in the world to do than listening to a new Rolling Stones album. No hurry to judge or evaluate anything, just let the music flow and do its magic. No reason to compare, no reason to analyse, no reason show its place in the history of the Stones or pop music in general. No, just to take it as an art piece of its own, The Rolling Stones presented he

QuoteTopi I still prefer "Mess It Up" to "Live By The Sword" myself as far as the Charlie tracks go. I think I have given the entire album two run-throughs so far. Gotta step outside for a long walk so I can get a couple more times in tonight... No release party for me tonight, but everyone who's going, enjoy! Tomorrow's going to be a great day. Mess it up i

QuoteSpud QuoteMadMetaphoricalMax ... Keith Richards is all over the album, with a lot of harmony vocals for one, and the detailing of the guitars, the riffs, the rhythms, is fantastic. Jagger may have brought most of them in, but Richards raised them right up... . ... by adding the fairy dust to make the magic. Both Keith and Ronnie are all over the album doing a great job. Great re

QuoteVirgin Priest First of all: in the pre-internet era, it was much easier to listen (and enjoy) new Stones music on a unbiased base. Now, listening for a new song for the first time, I catch myself thinking “Mr. X wrote, the guitars are to low in the mix. I must give a close listen!“, or “Someone said, the bridge is poor. I´ll check it out!“ Maybe we left Covid behind, but sometimes I th
